A return trip to discover more goodies. A bakery that does not open til 11am is uncommon and detracts from the experience. All breads seem to have very chewy crust extetiors. Some of other items are just next level genius. The ham sandwich with bourbon ham, gruyere, bordier butter, le sanctuaire piment d'espelette and cornichon is brilliant. The croissant sticky buns and twice baked croissant w/ pistachio cream, apricot marmalade, frangipane and almonds make you wonder if this is heaven.
I greatly anticipated my first visit here after reading about it. It's a small place with a wonderful variety of baked products like bread and pastries with various other tasty sundries to choose from.
First I tried the french baguette. It's has a beautiful craggly interior but has hard and chewy exterior. The Beurre Bordier butter was great but I taste tested it with the Irish butter and the Kirkland grass fed and the exhuberant price is not warranted. The Double Baked Almond Blueberry Croissant was superp. The Uncle Sergio Sandwich was very tasty but much skimpier than their photo and the bread again hard and chewy.
Expect to pay top dollar for the things they carry. Easy to spend $50+ on just a few items. You pay restaurant pricing right at the bakery.

I tried several times to go in today as a customer but the door keeper insisted they were full although I watched him let in people before and after me. It's safe to say they do not want my money and they can keep their rude bouncer. Last I checked this was a bread bakery, not a night club. It's ok, I went to Casino bakery instead and was able to walk right in without any issues. I'll be shopping elsewhere for bread for now on as I live in St Pete and it's not worth the effort only to be brushed off like I'm trying to get something for free.

Always a pleasurable experience! It’s tough to not grab one of everything. We always enjoy the opportunity to try the savory tidy bun, whipped feta with pistachios is a must grab and which ever ciabatta sandwich is available in the cooler always wins our hearts! Sweet items rotate and we love snagging something special and different each time we visit. Breads are beyond beautiful - we love the English muffins, cracked wheat loaf and pretzel baguette. If you enjoy the finer things in life, this place is for you! 💕
