Great hotel with firm, comfortable beds, beautiful views of Tampa, and close proximity to all the fun stuff. Rooms are a bit basic but clean and sufficient. Hop on the trolley to get around downtown. The pool area is super relaxing. The fees are a bit expensive, but you do get some resort amenities. Ice and microwaves are only on alternating floors which is a real pain. Parking is valet and a bit overpriced, but you are paying to park downtown. Overall, customer service is solid...
Our stay at this hotel was magical. The hotel is beautiful with stunning views of the water. We enjoyed the close access to the trolley that we took to dinner and my husband and I enjoyed a glass of wine at the outside hotel bar. My girls loved the pool and we enjoyed the stunning views. We had a lovely time at this Marriott! Its a great location within walking distance to restaurants and entertainment. Our room was immaculate and comfortable. The Concierge lounge was well stocked and had great service. We were somewhat dissappointed with service at the bar both inside and outside at Anchor and Brine.
