“Kid and I have been visiting this place routinely since he started at USF 3 years ago and I'm finally getting around to writing a review (for reference of how much we've tried it). He gets the same thing every time, basic lo mein, but I've sampled beef, chicken, and shrimp, and all dishes are delicious, adequate portions, and most importantly, consistent quality. Can't count the number of times we've been here and never a miss- very hard to find restaurants that can do that. Wish I had pics but it's always more critical to devour the food than photograph it!“
“I have been coming here for 10 years. My husband and I drive one hour just to come here because it is the best sushi restaurant I've visited in my life. The food and the service are amazing. The crab rangoon roll is my favorite along with their own home made eel sauce. Even missed these flavors while tasting sushi in Japan, where eel souce was unheard of.“

“This place is definitely bustling. I had the vegan lo-mien and it was filling. While there was only about 4 vegan options, the waiter was very knowledgeable and understood my request. Food came quickly with a good serving size for the price.Vegetarian options: Just make sure the wait staff knows your dietary needs and they should be able to accommodate.“

“Go go go! I can’t believe I haven’t gone here yet. But I can promise I will be making this a regular spot to eat and bring friends with. The food is amazing. My first time having a banh mi, and it was beyond what I expected. The veggies were fresh, bread was crispy yet soft inside, the meat was delicious and flavorful. They are THE standard for me now for a banh mi, I can’t see it getting any better than that (I got the combination banh mi). The fried dumplings were amazing as well, super crispy, the filling was great. The Chinese sausage sticky fried rice was very yummy as well. The tiger tea and the Vietnamese espresso with condensed milk were just as amazing as the food. Must try, nothing bad I could say. The environment was open, truly a family ran business which was so sweet to see, and everyone was so nice.“

“Gotta love an empanada! First time at this particular store. As usual these little tasty pastry stuffed pies are AWESOME!! My go to is the spinach, artichoke and cheese. Soooo good. Then I usually get a beef and cheese. The Apple ones are great for a dessert.We always overbuy!! But thrown them in your toaster oven and they come out perfectly. They even puff up a bit! If you have never tried an empanada, then you need to run to this place, choose your favorite flavor and enjoy! Oh, and don't forget to get extras to warm up at home for another tasty meal!“

“We came in 30 minutes before closing and they were happy to serve us. Had some hot sake and those Thai-style eggrolls to start with. For our entrees we had the pepper beef and the pad Thai (Thai spicy) which were both fantastic. Both entrees came very quickly and the staff was great. Will be returning!“

“Got the Soup flight, French Onion, and the Cuban Sandwich. The Cuban was 7.5/10 would’ve been better if there was more pork there was not enough to cover the whole sandwich. All three of my soups in the flight were cold by the time I got to the last one it was inedible. The French Onion soup was phenomenal. The spicy bbq sauce was very nice. Kevin was a very attentive and had great energy. I would suggest to put up something to zap the bugs at the door they fly around your food the whole time.Parking: May have to walk a bit after parking it’s in Ybor“
“After eating in Colombia for over two weeks I can safely say that this place has some of the best empanadas in Colombia!!!! From Bogota to Villavicencio to Cali! This truly reminds me of proper empanadas made fresh. 100% worth it and worth the stop“

Large spacious plenty of seating, several private rooms along the side of the dining room. Sit down to beautiful China on the tables as well as a view of all of the live fish tanks. We ordered salt and pepper, fried tofu and shrimp in lobster black bean sauce. Start with some green tea absolutely fabulous tasty food large portions served beautifully. I always have to bring my own take away containers for anything left over after the meal and the weight staff thanked me very much. So feel free to use your containers, at the end of the meal we received a check and a complementary dessert, which was fascinating because it was a warm red bean soup with tapioca. Interesting that a bowl of peanuts is put out on the table just to Nosh on and they were very good because they were Spanish red skin peanuts. Beautiful restaurant located in the back Plaza next to the M and D market. that is not to be missed. Plenty of parking.“

China Star is the first chinese food spot where I can confidently say it reminds me of home. i always get the crab rangoons, and i like to switch between shrimp and broccoli and vegetable lo mein. the shocker came when i went back to new york a month ago and had a meal from my favorite chinese spot... and found i liked China Star more! with their crispier crab rangoons and more flavorful fried rice, i was left unsatisfied from the restaurant that was once my favorite spot!!you're officially number 1, China Star!“

“Margaritas is a Davis island staple. I eat here at least once a month. I love the chips and salsa!! The strawberry margs are delicious, as well as the enchiladas. “We enjoy coming to Margaritas, the food is great, it's always super busy so therefore the service is a little slow. The tacos are very filling and the serving amounts are huge! I don't fancy Mexican much but the variety of food they have, always keeps me coming back for more. the sangria and margaritas are excellent. Not a complaint about this place.
