“i stumbled upon Mood Restaurant yesterday and went in your lunch and i was so excited to see such a beautiful and mouth watering menu! My Mom and ordered the buffalo cauliflower appetizer with blue cheese dressing and it was “over the top” . and Just amazing.bursting with flavor and wonderful texture! my Mother got the “ I’m not your mamas BLT. sandwich which was made with dried shiitake mushrooms with plenty of herbs and seasoning, and it tasted very similar to bacon and was delicious. i ordered the falafel salad 🥗 which was bursting with so many beautiful vegetables including spiral, beets, shaved carrots, cucumber, lettuce with a tahini dressing! i also had a ginger beer mock-tail which was so tasty! can’t wait to go back to this gem of a place!“

“Outrageous! The Kosher Kowboy nailed it... the plant-based chicken crisped to perfection on the outside and warmly tender on the inside. The habanero coleslaw balanced heat and deliciousness. 100/100 The crab cakes and side sauce did not disappoint either. So yummy 😋 Great atmosphere and service... “This was my first time eating at Olive U. My doctor recently told me to eat Medeterian foods only because of a fatty liver. I can't believe how delicious the food is. No salt but flavored so tasty. There is only one problem. it's almost an hour from where I live. As long as the gas stations have Petro, I'll be here. The staff is soooo incredibly nice. I'll be back, God willing.“

Our server, Allison, was wonderful and gave us more great local tips, not to mention the food was outstanding! We tried a little bit of everything and couldn’t have been more impressed; everything was SO fresh! “Was not as positive experience as I usually have. Steak was way overdone & had to wait a very long time to have another one prepared. One person finished their ENTIRE meal before steak meal was brought out, so we ate in shifts! Flight of wine that came with steak was just fair, will not order that again nor steak. No manager ever came by to ask how our meal was as they often used to do. Server was busy, so although very nice, do not come around often. I did enjoy the view & my mixed drink.“

The music was loud and we were going to leave but my wife decided to go speak with one of the managers to see if he could do anything about it because we have hearing problems. He immediately got the music turned down a little and then got us a seat within 5 minutes. The food was wonderful and Chris the GM kept checking with us that we were being taken care of. “I went to the Longhorn Steakhouse on Donald Ross Road last week. I have been to this location several times and I always ask for KEVIN as my server as he is wonderful no matter how busy he may be. The food is always consistent and good. Highly recommend!“

My husband and I visited Green Garden Café for breakfast and were amazed at not only the quality and freshness of food, but also the service. “I am visiting from out of town, and discovered this place via google. We were at the beach (few mins down the road) and I literally googled “vegan near me” and this came up. Thank goodness it did lol because I am in love with it! ALL VEGAN & GF, and GMO FREE. It is pricey (at least from my perspective as an out of towner. Our local organic/vegan spots back home don’t cost this much) but wow was it delicious and I’ll be back again to overspend on this trip anyways lol. Milkshakes were amazing, I had a bagel sandwich that I absolutely couldn’t believe was GF, we indulged in some of the bakery/dessert items that didn’t disappoint, and I had a fresh pressed juice of my dreams lol (try the Passion one!!!). The two young employees working were SO sweet and helpful, and dealt with all my neurotic questions and ordering lol. Excited to go back and try some other stuff that sounded good on the menu.“

“I highly recommend Unique Sweets Suppy!! It's not easy to find a local bakery that specializes in sugar free cakes that taste amazing and looks gorgeous. I reached out to them (with less than a week time to make) for a cake for my dad's 80th birthday. They spent time with me helping figure our design and flavors etc. So nice and accommodating. Well all I can say is the cake came out absolutely stunning and so delicious (remember this is sugar free) so I was alittle worried. My dad was so blown away. “My favorite place since I tried 2 months ago, I’ll go for lunch almost everyday, mostly Boca and Wellington. Im fasting so it’s the most tasty nutritious food I’ve got. The staff is amazing and the cleanliness even in bathrooms is top. I always get the small bowl and always ask for a bonus 1/2 spoon of beans and they always give it with a big smile, not this time. Today I tried the Alton one, I had high expectations. First impression was that it was weird starting the line backwards from the right. The operator was friendly but not when I asked for a tin of beans, 1/4 spoon the most… She said no and she wanted to sell me a cup as an extra. I declined, was rude, then I see the line dirty, stuff looked cold. The other operator was afraid to serve too much shrimp and the feta he spread it crumble by crumble, I was amazed of his skills. Those 2 company money savers fighting for the employee of the month. One thing I like at Bolay is to grab my metal good solid forks, this time I couldn’t, not available. The food was tasty as usual but the temperatures were inconsistent, the colds not too cool and the hots warms. Then after sitting the trash overflowing and dirty bowls piling up were a view that you can’t stop looking at it, under my table on the floor smashed veggies. When I’m leaving I’m looking at the other stations and look the same. I avoided use the bathrooms at that point to wash hands as usual. It wasn’t a staff shortage issue, plenty of labor, customer line clear. These guys went through the pick of rush in lunch time with not interval cleanings. So disappointing see that awesome concept lowing the bar so bad. At the end is all management. Not going back there, I mean, that one in Alton but people, you definitely gotta try it somewhere else and get hook by them. Wellington and Boca In Military staff is the best. Hope Alton improve.“
