Where is Matt? We love to have dinner on the nights Matt works! We love Chrissy too but whoever is the other bartender is useless!
Cane Garden is so very lucky to have Matt and Chrissy…..If Matt is not working at night and needs to find additional work then we will go there for dinner and drinks!
Bring Matt back to his original schedule !!!!!

Service was Ok, food was terrible. From the looks of everyones orders, it seems like they just re-heat pre-made meals. I've had better chicken cordon blue out of a frozen food box.

Update 6/3/2026 - So my folks go occasionally to cane garden and said good things so I agreed to go and meet them for dinner. Forgetting I wrote the above review 9 years ago, got a vivid reminder how terrible the food is here. Maybe their sandwiches, burgers or pizza are good but the dinners are terrible. Lobster bisque had a layer of oil floating on top. The bread(garlic knots?) are hard enough to be used as a weapon. I ordered stuffed flounder, lol it was a piece of flounder with crab meat that looked more like dog food thrown on top. The mashed potatoes had chunks of under cooked potatoes in them. Don't forget the mixed veggies that must have been cooked 6 hours before they were served. At least my beer was cold. It will probably be another 9 years before I eat there again.

Ashley waited on us this morning and she was soo attentive, we appreciated all her attention, she has always been consistent and pleasant. Service was great and food was too. Hope to go back soon.....

Service was very slow, (took over 30 minutes to get waters) food was cold, no manager ever came to talk to us about it. One dinner had a rotten baked potato that never got replaced. Very disappointing.

Fabulous tasting food but sadly it was served cold. I would definitely try it again.

Large group went after golf for breakfast. We come in shifts - we had two large tables. When the second table came in, no server for 10-15 minutes. Then she said no breakfast because it was after 11. We were all there prior to 11. Asked for the manager, whom never came to our table and the server never came back. I walked up front to ask the server what was happening and she said she was looking for the manager (walking around the dining room that you can plainly see is not looking for a manager). Manager finally comes to see what was going on and I asked why we could not order breakfast. She said there system locks out breakfast ordering at 11. I said clearly not, as another server placed a breakfast order at 11:10. Mind you, besides us, there were maybe 3 tables of 4 people in the place (should have been a red flag, it is the busy season). She goes to the kitchen and comes back out and says they can take our breakfast order in 20 minutes - it will be slow - if we were to wait, we would have been in the restaurant for 40 minutes before ordering any food. Our table of 8 left and got breakfast else where. This is not the first time we have had extremely slow or bad service. Not someplace I will spend my money.

Great menu. One of the best menu's around. I have tried most of the items and never disappointed. Don't forget to try the pizza. They do pizza right with their own pizza oven.

Seated & ordered breakfast by 10;15AM this morning, a birthday celebration that turned into a disaster. The food still hadn’t arrived by 11:45 so we left. So did a lot of people. Server didn’t acknowledge the delay unless we asked and were told it would be right out. She didn’t even top off our coffee.
