“I love good Mexican food. It seems like the only place I can find great Mexican food is the food trucks. The food is fantastic. We had a taco with every protein option they have. Each one was delicious. We also ordered a burrito which also tasted great but was pretty undersized. The hot sauce was absolutely fantastic. They give you a bottle of green and red hot sauce which is nice. Some places charge extra. They do offer seating but it’s under this small covering that has a tarp thrown over the top and along the sides. It would have been nice to not have to duck in order to get in the seating area and a few lights in there would make it feel like you weren’t in a homeless camp. Having said all of that, here are the main points: Amazing food, atmosphere needs improvement, increase portion size would be nice.“

“Nice find for my group of ten in the area on business. A week after Helene we were hard pressed to find something open or a full menu available or accepting credit cards...etc. Lolis isn't the most aesthetically pleasing venue, because it's a counter where you place orders and a very modest dining room where the food is brought to you when ready. On the front counter is a plastic utensil dispenser next to one delivering a napkin per pull.

If you don't care about any of that but love authentic Mexican food, then you're in luck! As I wrote, we had a large group and most ordered different items. All of us agreed the offerings were made from fresh, high quality ingredients. Even something as simple as queso and chips was great with corn, onion, a few other vegetables mixed in the cheese. It's a bit pricey for an establishment with its "look" however you'll get premium taste for that $12-$20 per person!

Parking: Parking lot is somewhat small because the property is a strip mall and there are other businesses; however some of the post-Milton damage may have obscured some spots.“

“The atmosphere is great! It was comfortable and fun! The staff was excellent. She helped with dietary restrictions and understood when we explained that the drinks were not strong. The scallops were undeniably overcooked and the staff was eager to fix the concerns. I recommend this restaurant for the vibe and the guacamole!“

I am gluten-free and I have had no problem finding something I could eat wholeheartedly! The guacamole ?is freshly made and super delicious! “RICOS, RICOS, RICOS. Best and affordable steak tacos in Tampa, the place is clean, the food is delicious, from the juicy and perfectly seasoned meat to the sauce they give. The green sauce has a perfect balance between the spice and flavor. My husband has gotten their steak quesadilla and absolutely devours it each time. The ladies are extremely sweet and care for their customers, they even have a nice waiter that kindly attends you at your table. I 100% recommend. I’ve been here well over 5 times and I will continue coming back.

“Rolled up on a Friday at lunch to grab some tacos. Employee was definitely about business over friendliness. My order took about ten minutes. Price was decent. Food was as expected. I won't say it is the best I have had, but the tacos and quesadilla were both worthy of their namesake. Everything was wrapped up nicely. Check them out if you are in the neighborhood.“

“Was passing through Tampa from Sarasota and decided to try the food. Glad I did! Excellent tacos. Wish I was in the area more often to taste other items on the menu.

Parking: It's in the back of a convenience store, so parking can be a challenge“

“I had the Asada Quesadilla and it was pretty great. Eating next to a highway out in the open was a nice experience as well (not sarcastic). Not too many seats available but you can order for takeout. It seemed the salespeople only speak Spanish (they some understand English at least) which wasn't an issue for me and what little Spanish I do know.“

Looked promising for a place to go for the first time regardless of the small bit of negative reviews. Well those negative reviews went out the window of our thoughts when we got there. The wait was not long given the time. The waiter “Julian” I believe that was his name he was FANTASTIC! Really fantastic! He was kind, he checked in us often! His recommendations for my dish for the first time was great! His hospitality was awesome! Just want to say too, I recommend the Birria Tacos! & the Fajita Bowl with the Carnita! (“Julian” recommend carnita and I’m glad he did!) was delish both dishes! The meltdown melon margarita I had was delish too! Quite refreshing in this Florida heat! Also want to say the chips and salsa .. man that salsa was delish! Tipping my hat to you guys for that salsa! “Julian” our waiter also said they had a spicy version and I love spicy! He was awesome to bring us some when we asked for it. And it did NOT disappoint! It was so good! So for our first experience at this place I say we enjoyed it and enjoyed to food was delish!“
