“Went for the first time on a Saturday around 4:30pm. My brother got the chicken tacos and I got the chicken quesadilla. We also got sides of rice and beans. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. Portions were a good size and filling. The sauces that came with our meals were yummy and not too spicy. It wasn't too busy dining in but lots of people were picking up take out. I deduct one star for it being fairly pricey. For the quesadilla, 4 tacos, and sides of rice and beans + drinks we spent $45.“
“This place has gotten so much better since new management took over. The portions are full and consistent, quality is top notch, and the customer service is perfect. Everyone is so nice, personable, and accommodating. We went from only ordering from here every now and then every few months when we had the patience to hope our order was correct and the tacos weren't skimped to getting large orders multiple times a month now without a single thing wrong and almost feeling like they overstuff the orders now! If you fell away from this place in the past, give it another try, they are a million times better now. If you have never tried this place, you really need to. There's so many taco and Mexican restaurants in the area but this one is more firmly back at the top again. While the whole crew is great, special shoutout to Darby and Jake. They really went above and beyond to make sure everything was awesome. Can't wait for next time!“
“Unfortunately, I have to rate this restaurant based on my experience and not what it could be. We went during a slow period of time so that may have been the problem. On a Saturday Saturday at lunchtime. I would think that there would be more people there but maybe it's because of the service. Our server hardly spoken in English at all I repeated that my child wanted two soft tacos at least five times when the order came out, we still only ended up with one soft taco, but we did get an extra soft shell lol. The food was good though. I visit many Varda. This definitely wasn't the normal experience.“
“If you have ever eaten Mexican Food in San Francisco & MISSED it... Well just go to Lorita's. I swear you will think that you are there. The Flavor, Quality & Quantity screams SF, & look at the 3,500 Miles you just skipped. Do yourself & Your Tastebuds a huge favor & try Lorita's. #NoRegretsHere.“
“Update 4/15/24Had the trio to start. Then has the fajita chicken bowl with cilantro lime rice. And the other with added steak and Mexican rice. They both were very good!I had a variety of 3 crunchy tacos, beans and rice and a margarita. I enjoyed it all! I'll definitely be back.“
“This location has some wonderful Mexican cuisine. The nacho chips are absolutely amazing. They are the perfect consistency to holding up sauce and queso without getting soggy. One of my favorite items is the chicharrones taco. It is loaded with nicely balanced pork belly with a sweetish sauce, salty feta cheese, and paired with onion and cilantro. Delectable!!Vegetarian options: There is a wonderful vegetarian taco with mushrooms, onion, and peppers.“
“Although I have been in Tampa 2 years now I had never been to the International plaza food court. I recently happened upon this gem Mexican restaurant to entertain a friend that came into town to visit. The wait was short, our bartender Sam was great. We had the pork tacos and the roasted corn. Food was phenomenal but what really really made my day was the service from our waitress Emma. Patient as she waited for our food choices. GREAT very welcoming personality. She checked on us regularly, just overwhelming awesome personality. Funny, and made the whole restaurant experience that much more enjoyable. Emma girl you did your thing.Gina MillerRiverview FlParking: International mall parking lot“
“Super clean truck, with nicely shaded small patio/tables to enjoy some of the best tacos I've had in years! The freshly made corn tortillas were outstanding. The guy taking orders was super sweet. My Diet Coke was ice cold...an added bonus!“
“My husband went here and he ordered some tacos amazing they helped him out they told him what they had and they were amazing the tacos was delicious the only thing is it's kind of dangerous where their parking is the front parking because it's on Waters Avenue so if you can try to park on the side street that one's not as busy as Waters Avenue“
“I recently ordered delivery from Los Chapos Tacos and I was absolutely blown away by the quality of their food and service. From start to finish, the entire experience was top-notch and exceeded all of my expectations. The delivery was prompt and the food arrived piping hot, just as if I were dining in at the restaurant itself. The packaging was secure and ensured that the food stayed fresh and delicious during transit. As for the food itself, it was absolutely phenomenal. The tacos were bursting with flavor, with perfectly seasoned meat and fresh toppings. The guacamole was creamy and had just the right amount of kick, and the salsa added the perfect amount of heat to each bite. The portion sizes were generous, and I was pleasantly surprised by the affordable prices for such high-quality food. It was clear that attention to detail and care went into preparing each dish.Overall, I cannot recommend Los Chapos Tacos enough for anyone looking for authentic and delicious Mexican cuisine delivered right to their doorstep. This experience has solidified them as my go-to choice for tacos, and I will definitely be ordering from them again in the future. Five stars all the way.“
“If we could give this place 10 stars we would! The food here is top quality & it’s consistent. This place is our go to for quick delicious Mexican food & pupusas. The owner is super welcoming & attentive & cares about his customers. This place is a must try!“
“The food is really great, I frequent this location. My favorite is the duck but they just added a tuna that is phenomenal. I rather enjoy their lettuce wrapped tacos more and more as well. The vibe is always fun and never dull. It can get packed so make sure you call ahead or get a reservation. Also it getting packed can create some slow service but honestly that is rare and the staff is pretty great.“

“This is a nice little place in a congested area but hidden off the beaten path. Flavor of the food was absolutely incredible authentic cuisine. I I give it a four for service because the cost should reflect the service you get and I think it was off just a hair for what I was expecting. Don't get me wrong service was good, however I expected more. If you get an opportunity to check it out I would highly recommend it. If you are unfamiliar with the area it's right near Maggiano's in the Westshore Plaza area. Definitely tasty! And again, I forgot pictures however you'll probably see them on the website from the other reviews.“
“Ordered from Uber Eats and was not let down! Hands down some of the best authentic Mexican food since coming from Chicago. Barria tacos were so good and the guacamole was probably the best I've ever had no lie. They even threw in a free drink and wrote a personalized note on our cup for us ! Customer service at its best! Support thus business they deserve it !“
“Have been trying tacos around the area since I moved here 9 months ago. Stopped by today at 4:40pm. It was empty. The lady was very nice, she took my order and 5 minutes later I had two corn tortillas tacos de asada. I like only onions, salsa and lemon on them. The amount of meat for each taco was the perfect ratio. Meat was very flavorful, I tried the green salsa (not too much heat). Next time I will try the red.I ate a taco there, nice area with tarp, it was raining. The tacos are very good and the price was even better. Will come back!“
“Incredible culinary experience. Best service you could ever imagine, elote was so good and they have great deals all the time. Venezuela and Curacao baseball was playing on the TV. U have 2 go, you will regret it for the rest of your life if you don't.“
“Visiting Tampa from Orlando and came here just because the pictures on google look so good specifically the salad and it exceeded every expectation!! I would 100% recommend the food was great and the customer service was wonderful as well!!“
“A humble fast casual restaurant with really nice staff and the best chicken quesadilla I've ever had! This is no Americanized menu. There are tacos, quesadillas, sopes, and tamales, and each one looks better than the last. You can even have a bowl! The tortilla was crispy, the mozzarella cheese was generous, and the chicken was delicious! The chicken was chopped into small pieces, sauteed in something incredible, and had fresh cilantro sprinkled on top. Whenever I'm close by, I'll be eating here and trying their sopes next!“
“Really Mexican food (antojitos) and especially the sauces and bullfighting chiles wow! They cook with very good seasoning and use quality products. Super Recommended! If you are in a hurry I recommend calling and placing your order in advance, their staff is always very helpful and friendly.“
“Excellent service very friendly. Very good food. I have no complaints about the place and its services. Supporting small places in these times of pandemic is the best thing we can do to shape the economy so they don't have to close their doors. Negative people go ahead and keep buying burgers and fries. Have compassion on the merchants and people who put all their effort and money to be able to have their store open, in this Pandemic. By a client with Cholera. It does not determine neither the food nor the place and its service by the hundreds that we like about this place to eat.
“Still the best burritos IMO. Pricey but worth it. 2 vegetarian options are awesome, especially the oyster mushroom burrito. Can't go wrong with anything. Keep an eye out for local pop up eventsVegetarian options: The oyster mushroom option and squash option are excellent“
“Food was excellent and well priced. Our server was fantastic and attentive to our needs. Server and manager/owner genuinely thanked us on our way out. Route to the bathroom was a little sketchy (under construction?) but will definitely be back and highly recommended.“
“Super crowd when we visited this place. I’m sure they are great on a less busy day. We visited during strawberry fest. The food was awesome. My wife has been craving good Mexican food and this place satisfies that for sure. Very authentic. They have awards in the walls. Price was good also!Parking: Very tight parking lot. Very few spots. Do not park in the 7-11 store across the street. You will get towed away if you do.“
“Really good spot for mexican food with solid flavors. They have daily specials, and in my opinion, their saturday special is a top notch deal. Not enough parking for the amount of seating they have, but idc... it wont stop me from going back!“
“Visiting Tampa. After a recommendation from someone else, came for some tacos. Had their al pastor & carne asada and they were very good. Sauces could be spicier but the tacos were great. Al pastor especially was my favorite, crispy corners on the meat, the tortillas were perfect.“
“Just had surgery and woke up craving tacos. Came here and ordered the Barbacoa tacos! Let me tell you. Especially after fasting and surgery, these tacos are heaven on earth. That’s coming from someone who is atheist lolAnyways, these tacos slap. Woulda took a photo, but I ate all 4 of them.10/10 recommend“
“I saw Jimmy's Tacos advertised in a "That's So Tampa" email and since I was in Ybor for the vintage market, I decided to swing by for lunch. What a nice surprise!!! I ordered the shrimp tacos - one blackened (omg - yum!) and one grilled. They were large/jumbo shrimp cook perfectly and served on blue corn tortillas. Delicious. The atmosphere was very Ybor - chill, and fun. I loved seeing the chickens roam around and good service topped it off.“
“Ones of the best spots I've had in Florida coming from southern Cali, says a lot. Fresh, yummy, clean & quick. Wish I could've snapped a pic but I ate too quick. Talked with someone, maybe the owner? Anyways super nice and remembered my friend who had only been a few times. Definitely recommend!“
“This is not so much a taco restaurant but instead it's a bowl shop. They put together delicious bowls with a good selection of toppings, proteins and base stuffYou select your base (rice, greens, etc.), then your protein, then toppings. There's plenty of seating both inside and outside. There is a self-serve beverage station.“
“We had a great lunch this afternoon. It was our first visit. We had the steak and chicken bowls. They were fantastic! Great food and reasonably priced. My daughter also enjoyed her order of churros. Felicia our server was very friendly and pleasant. We look forward to returning in the near future.“
“The owner is kind and helpful. The food is amazing! And prices are great! Portions are good to! I had the Al pastor burrito! Guac is automatically included inside with no up charge. And I tried a fried plantain desert that comes with a sweetened condensed milk sauce ? the whole thing will probably be 3 meals for me. The burrito was $9 and dessert $3.“
“Finally a restaurant that's not only delicious but the serving sizes aren't outrageous. My wife and I were pretty shocked when we received our meals. Should we have been upset...lol. Of course not, the food was great and I didn't leave half a dish of food (which I hate doing).“
“My sister and I were heading through Tampa back from an appointment and craving birria tacos at 9:30 in the morning I plugged a search in Yelp with low hopes but saw the reviews for this place and we skkrrt skrrrted right over. A small place in a little strip we ordered- 1 order of birria tacos (shredded beef with consomé), 1 housemate horchata, chips and queso, a cochinita pibil taco, and a steak and cheese empanada, the decently extensive menu did not have prices listed at all, but all of this and a bottle of water came out to a little over $30. The chips are house made fresh fried tortillas-crunchy and the queso was REALLY GREAT-smooth consistently and very flavorful without being spicy (my sister is a weenie), the birria tacos came out next and after my first bite I think she thought I was being dramatic, until she took one and had an audible mouthgasm. THE BEST birria tacos we've ever had. The pibil taco was good, but but didn't hold a candle after the queso and birria, the empanada came out at the end of our visit, it's unique-it was essentially the shredded beef and white cheese stuffed into tamale dough, pressed, fried and topped with sour cream and shredded lettuce. It was good, but not a typical empanada and didn't have the ratio of filing to wrap that I was seeking but wouldn't *not* order it again. The horchata was delicious, very creamy, and not overly done with cinnamon-as with most places they do not offer refills, but it was smaller drink than most authentic places I get them at. Small restaurant, with limited seating in a strip mall, they had a specials board behind the counter we didn't see until we were leaving that had several unique offerings will be checking that out on our next visit. Service was okay, but they also had a sign that they offer $2 tacos on Tuesday and some sort of esquite special on Mondays. They also offer tripa and lengua tacos. GET: chips and queso, Birria tacos, horchata“
“Mexican place with several vegan options including tacos, burritos, bowls, and taquitos. They have vegan cheese as well. Lots of veg options for the protein! Only bummer was we paid $3 extra for vegan queso per burrito and none of us tasted it.“
“Very delicious food. I ordered asada taco, tongue and carnitas. My companion ordered a torta de asada, an asada taco, and a barbacoa taco. The reason for 5 stars is because the roast did not have a good flavor. It tasted more like stewed meat not roasted. But the girls were very friendly and it was clean outside and there was enough space to sit and eat right there. This food truck is in a parking lot where there are many other food trucks, so they can satisfy different cravings at the same time. I will definitely be back for the tacos and to try other things on the menu.“
“Authentic!!!!We had a chicken mole tamale, ceviche with shrimp and octopus, fish tacos and a side of grilled jalapenos... it was all wonderful! Everything was cooked perfectly.Great atmosphere with plenty of seating. Highly recommend Tacoson to anyone wanting authentic Mexican food “
“This place is a hidden secret. Can’t believe I didn’t know about it, bc we went there last weekend and it was DELICIOUS!!! The margaritas were perfect, the queso was so good. We had Burris tacos and pollo del crema. 10/10, A+, seasoning, portion size and quality all on point!!! Can’t wait to go back.“
“Phenomenal service from Mike the bartender. He suggested a ton of great food which we tried (pork burrito!!!) and it was EXCELLENT. Basically all of the food (sauces, guacamole, seasoning) is made in house from scratch. Me and my girlfriend are visiting from Mexico and the food is authentic as it gets. Beats every Mexican food in the area. We’ve been to Tampa over a dozen times and will be returning here for another Mezcal Margarita!!!!“
“This is one of the best burritos I’ve ever had and it’s out of a food truck at a gas station. We were at the Elder Ford and told them we have to leave food and they said what would you like, we said mom and pop they said what about tacos we said yes and glad we did, it was amazing highly recommended!Parking: It’s at a gas stationKid-friendliness: Kids are allowed!“
“I discovered this place when I was pregnant last year and it was absolutely amazing. Ms. Laura is such a sweetheart. I absolutely adore her. I stop by every time I am in the area. The food is ????. Very authentic taste. Everything is fresh. They make you feel welcome and the food taste as if it was made with love. I have yet to have a bad experience.“
“It's my birthday so I stopped by Fuzzy's to bring my family home their AMAZING STEAK BURRITOS and met a lady named Martini who provided EXCELLENT SERVICE! I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a ridiculously tasty burrito!“
“I'm a New Yorker and I'm living in Tampa now I went and got a chop cheese to see if it is just as good as NY OMG when I heard how the female was making it chopping it up I lost my mind because it brought me back to the corner stores in NY the chop cheese was on point it had the taste that I expect I will be going to try other food on the menu will recommend this place this is my new favorite place a place away from home“
“The food is soo good! Just wish I can go get some when I wanted it. It seems they are never open! Needs better hours. Every time I go, even if it says they should be open, they are not. Closed on Sundays and Monday as well! Would need better hours please so I can enjoy your food more often! :)“
“Food was excellent! Meal came with warm salsa and chips. I've never had warm salsa before but I surprisingly enjoyed it very much. I definitely believe it added to the flavor somehow. AnywaysI got the Birria ramen and the pastor Mexican tacos. The Birria ramen was exactly what the name is, a traditional Birria stew with ramen. It was what I expected no more no less flavor wise. My only complaint is that the noodles were over cooked. As for the pastor tacos, they were delicious very flavorful and moist meat! My son got the quesabirria tacos and he said that they were the best Birria tacos he's ever had. The shells were cooked perfectly with a great crunch and slightly browned. Most of the ones he's had before have been nice and crispy but they're also typically dripping with oil but not these. He also enjoyed their horchata which he also rated on the top of his list.“
“Didn't even see this place when I first passed .had to do a quick search of the area for some good food near me literally a 2 minute walk for a quick bite to eat. Tried the lunch burrito and was not disappointed! The right size for a great price and a diet coke on the side. Will be back for more authentic flavors.“
“This is my go-to taco place. They have huge tacos made with fresh tortillas. They have never let me down and in fact I go out of my way to get their food. I travel a lot with my job and every taco place I eat at is compared to their tacos!!!! Sooooo Gooooood!!!!!P.S. The green sauce they give you to go on top is the best ever“
“I have been a fan of this family since i moved to tampa back in 2011. They had a spot on armenia and i used to go everyday. They moved closer to my job and now i go at least 3 times a week. Their food is delish and cooked with love and they are always friendly and kind and happy. My kind of place. Ill be a loyal customer for ever =)“
“Food is really good here. Dishes to dishes there is a local place that could be considered to be better.Supreme tacos at the other place are at a 9.5 and these are probably around a 7 1/4...but! They are very good either way. Definitely a must eat at place. Staff and really nice and prompt. Will be coming back to eat.“
