“Definitely a diamond in the rough!! There were 5 in our party and even tho we waited awhile it was definitely worth it. Our waitress was excellent and let us know from the beginning that she was backed up but would be back to us as soon as she could check on the other tables. She was actually the only server on duty!! The food was also excellent and well worth the wait and the price was very reasonable. We also sat where we could watch the kitchen staff working their butts off handling table orders as well as a stream of take out orders. All 5 of us agreed our experience was worth every minute. While we were there I didn't hear any complaints at all, which is highly unusual when you have any kind of wait. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We even tipped the kitchen staff for their hard work.“

“I usually love everything that I've ordered but today I ordered 10 chicken wings with medium sauce from the Seminole location and they were horrible unless you like pepper on your wings. I'm not a fan of pepper and when I called to ask if I received the correct order was informed that this location adds pepper and you have to request no pepper. Wasted money on them today. It should be on the menu that they do this to all of the wings. Disappointed 😞“

“I traveled to Italy this summer, and I have to say, the pizza I had tonight at Colony Grill was better than any I had during my trip! I’d never had Connecticut style pizza before, but it is my new favorite—every bite has sauce, cheese, or toppings on it, so there’s no risk of leaving a pile of uneaten crust on your plate. I’m so surprised to see other reviews commenting on lack of flavor, because that is what so positively stood out to me. I think it might’ve been the hot oil that created such a tangy, crave-able taste, so I’d recommend ordering that as a topping. It’s one of the cleanest restaurants I’ve ever been in, the booths are comfortable, the service is attentive, the beers are well-poured, and the pizza is (in my opinion) better than Italy. Colony Grill is a welcome break from the ultra “trendy” and Instagram-forward restaurants that cost $$$ for a decent dinner downtown. I wish I’d given this place a try sooner!“

“We called to have a rehearsal dinner last minute as the place we were going didn’t have indoor seating. I’m the 5 minutes it took us to get there - they had our table all set up! They were super friendly, fast and the food was DELICIOUS!!! Never had to wait more than 30 seconds when we needed something and they were always happy to help! I’d recommend to anyone!!!“

“This is my second order and I can't stop thinking about how good this burger was... I did a burger with yellow American cheese chipotle mayo jalapenos and tots. Along with fried mushrooms to sample... The only negative is don't give marinara with the shrooms.... Try ranch, blue cheese or tzaiki if I'm saying that right.. so damn good“

I do wish the price was a little lower since I never get any protein options though. With protein it costs the same as without which makes no sense. And I once ordered a side of greens with no dressing but when the greens arrived they had a film of oily dressing on it, then they charged me 4.99 for a small bowl of it. That has been the ONLY thing I've ever truly been unhappy with there but I digress because I still go back because the staff has always been attentive & kind amidst the rush, and food never short of satisfying.

I now understand that without protein, the cost is simply the base rate for your bowls, and I appreciate that explanation (it's not a deal breaker, they are a good price). “Branzini is a new standard for great Mediterranean Food In St Pete and the entire Tampa Bay Area - The owners and staff ( Especially Tazo and Natatia ) are so inviting and helpful that you just can't find a better restaurant experience in our opinion - The chicken dish was my favorite - my wife loved the seafood and pasta dish and the wine and beer selections are very well suited to the dishes they serve as well. It made my party so great because I didn't have to worry about feeding my guests he did everything for me. I don't know if I can host another party without him...lol.“
