“I stumbled across this spot on Uber Eats and was pleasantly surprised to find a buy-one-get-one deal on tacos (three per order). The handmade flour tortillas were grilled to a perfect crisp-chewy texture, and the chicken was nicely grilled with a great char. I did expect a few sides of salsa or sauce to accompany the tacos, but none were included, so they were a bit on the dry side—though still delicious. Both the Mexican rice and cilantro rice were excellent as well.“

“I’ve dined at Refined Roots several times. Food is amazing! Great culinary experience. Today, I ordered sweet tea (like always). It was watered down and maybe 4 small sliver pieces of ice and almost clear in color. Asked server if it was poured from a pitcher that sits out (often you get diluted products and light in color from the side pictures left out). She said no and would get me another glass. The 2nd glass was visually darker with still a few slivers of ice. She even commented it looked darker and walked away. I took a sip and about spit it out. It was my old glass with coffee added. YES coffee. I walked over and shared this with the waiter. She smelled the glass and knew it was coffee immediately. She took it to the back. Brought me another glass that was better than the 1st and had ice. Like I said, this place is amazing but today’s experience was not. There was ZERO reason for anyone to put coffee into my glass and bring back to me. I only see this as a horrible misstep or a side of shade for asking for a new glass to of tea. Note…. I no longer drink coffee due to an intolerance. Will come back but this has sat with me today.“

“The service was polite as they explained how to order items, I liked how the table was set with a giant paper tablecloth, plastic bibs, gloves and hand wipes. You know you're about to throw down!

We ordered the large set with crab legs, shrimp, crayfish and mussels- with extra potatoes and corn...the spice level really counts, so if you don't want to breathe fire while eating, go with the mild option
The corn was flavorless even dipped in the sauce and spices. Sweet corn cob would have been a better option. The crayfish was disappointing so we unfortunately wasted money ordering those. The mussels and crab legs really were the best items. However next time we will go for a smaller package with more shrimp and just order a pound of crab legs- where its enough to share.
I give the place a 4 out of 5 - my bf and I will be more selective next time we visit.“

“Had the Monday night fish and chips special and it tasted fresh and yummy. The service was good. Ate inside bc it was cold outside and it was cozy in a sort of dive bar way. The only downside was one person loudly cell phone talking the whole time we were there. They serve other UK food specials like shepherds pie along with other regular menu items. We plan on coming back.
Went back and had the shepherds pie and my husband had a sandwich. I think it was some sort of beef. He said his sandwich was excellent and my shepherds pie was very good. They are reasonably priced as well.“

“First time at BellaBrava. The complimentary bread was amazing. Ordered the hummus and gorgonzola salad and they were over the top. Love the wine menu and will be back for that. It was my birthday and our server surprised me with the biggest piece of tiramisu with a candle on it. Fabulous!!Jen was our server and she was the best! 5 Star all the way“
