“The sushi is great. Service is just OK. Not very friendly and painfully slow. We made the mistake of coming here hungry and it took over 40 minutes to get our order of 3 rolls. We were one of only 3 tables occupied in the restaurant.

Also, it was frigid in the restaurant. All the employees have sweatshirts on and when we asked if they could turn off the fan, we were told they are connected to the lights so it wasn’t possible. The table next to us decided to take their order to go because of the temperature in the restaurant.

Updated to add: Ashly did an incredible job of connecting with me to explain the combination of circumstances that led to the experience we had at the restaurant that day. The customer experience from that interaction was excellent. She was not defensive and made me feel like a valued customer. For that, I updated my service rating from 2 stars to 4 and overall rating from 2 stars to 4. Of course the excellent service after the fact is impactful but it doesn’t erase the initial experience entirely.“

“What a delightful addition to Dunedin's dining options near the causeway! Everything was incredibly fresh and you could watch your rolls being masterfully created. Great veggie options, too. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. Seawhip Sushi is now our favorite sushi bar in town!“

“Isekai is a small, friendly, family-run operation with a creative menu and top-quality ingredients. This was the first place I found in Tampa that offers toro (fatty tuna) and real wasabi. Everything I’ve tried on their menu so far, from sushi and onigiri to tempura, gyoza and chicken karaage, has been top notch. They also serve coffee, tea and boba drinks - my favorite is the Mango Passionfruit Tea with the mango chunks in the bottom. The atmosphere is cute and casual, with anime art and two screens showing anime and live action food or music videos. There are also tables available outside. I highly recommend this place.“

“My husband and I are frequent diners at Rice and Spice, pretty much regulars, we have been visiting this restaurant for over 2 years and every time we are 100% happy and satisfied with the food, the service, the ambience. They never cease to amaze us with their menu. Tonight we ordered a new dish that is not in the menu yet and it was absolutely delicious. If you like curry, which i do not care for curry - but this was exceptional. The name is Ka-Mu-Panang. I also had a new dessert - made of coconut, bananas. and mango. Because it was a new item it hasn't been named yet - so we called it CoBango, the owners were also naming it different things and still no name when we left. Typical visit as part of the fun going there is feeling like going to family- the owners are very we;coming and family oriented. Love the place!“

“Food was very good, flavors were delicious and my salmon was cooked perfectly. Really liked the ginger salad dressing, seemed like they make it in house (but I could be wrong). Service was wonderful, games were on but atmosphere was not too loud that we couldn't have a good conversation. This isn't our first time and definitely won't be our last coming here, lots more dishes to try. We ordered: Goyza (yum!), tuna and spicy tuna sushi (seemed fresh), Terriaki salmon (delicious), and BBQ short ribs (practically licked the plate clean lol). Restrooms were fully functioning and supplies well stocked, a few pieces paper on the ground but nothing off putting.“

“This place lives up to its name !! I am a sushi snob. I want my sushi cold and fresh and it was exactly that. The portion sizes are generous and the prices are awesome. I got a spicy crab roll with cream cheese and roe and it was to die for had to get more to bring home. My man got the sushi burrito it was excellent ( I had to take a bite.) I know good sushi and this place was excellent . The seating is comfortable, it was nice and cool and the manager was very professional and polite , all together a great experience , very happy to have a good sushi place close by. 10 out of 10 !! Keep up the good work dang good !! If you like fresh sushi , generous portions , great price , this is gonna be your place !! Yummy yummy ??“

to be around, you literally have to beg them and then they cop an attitude with you.
The sushi makers had to call her over constantly. Shameful, really is a great place, just poor attitudes from certain staff.“

It’s my 50th birthday and no one took the time to celebrate this milestone with me. So I came out to dine alone. I got there 5 minutes after last call for all you can eat crab was called. But I asked him to see if it would be ok with a manager since my friends bailed on me. I wouldn’t be chatting. Just crabbing. Lolol. He got the all clear. And kept me stocked. All the staff would walk by and wish me a happy birthday. And Smiley chatted with me throughout my meal so I didn’t feel so alone. And on top of everything else. They also blessed with with a ginormous piece of chocolate cake. And here I was thinking. I wasn’t going to get cake for my birthday. Thank you Thirsty Marlin for helping this midcenturian celebrate having made it to the top of the hill. And again. Thank you Smiley for bringing a smile to my face when there was none. “I went here around 8 on a Sunday with my boyfriend who took me for my birthday, The service was great they were quick to take Plates and fill the glasses, The place looked nice too, but my one problem was the dessert so one thing they had was jello and I love jello but this jello was dry and tasted like it had been sitting also some of the fruit looked old and the cup with cream was basically just icing. But I really enjoyed the food it was delicious and they had a variety I ended up taking me a container home with me we will definitely be back. ❤️“

Second time , this might sound kinda “big back “ but I had a uncomfortable experience at another buffet and I left after 15 mins just to drive to royal buffet where I was greeted and didn’t feel racially profiled !
