Let Kristy, the condiment queen and server extraordinaire, steer your flavor ship—she nailed the sauce pairing for my Surf & Turf and Pye Road Roll like she was born to do it. Pro tip: trust her. She’s got the sauce intuition of a sushi sorceress.

Now let’s talk vibes—because just as I sat down, I got Rick-Sushi rolled (yep, they actually played Rick Astley), the owner's playlist rolled out hit after hit. 10/10 for tunes while I chewed.

And that Surf & Turf roll? SHUT. THE. FRONT. & BACK DOOR. The filet mignon was juicy, flavorful, seared to perfection but still perfectly rare inside. Wasabi Wizardry!. 🪄

You can feel the creativity and care in every bite. This isn’t just sushi...it’s an edible experience. Nobody around here is doing it like DANG, and honestly? They’re setting the bar while having fun doing it.

“Isekai is a small, friendly, family-run operation with a creative menu and top-quality ingredients. This was the first place I found in Tampa that offers toro (fatty tuna) and real wasabi. Everything I’ve tried on their menu so far, from sushi and onigiri to tempura, gyoza and chicken karaage, has been top notch. They also serve coffee, tea and boba drinks - my favorite is the Mango Passionfruit Tea with the mango chunks in the bottom. The atmosphere is cute and casual, with anime art and two screens showing anime and live action food or music videos. There are also tables available outside. I highly recommend this place.“

“My husband and I are frequent diners at Rice and Spice, pretty much regulars, we have been visiting this restaurant for over 2 years and every time we are 100% happy and satisfied with the food, the service, the ambience. They never cease to amaze us with their menu. Tonight we ordered a new dish that is not in the menu yet and it was absolutely delicious. If you like curry, which i do not care for curry - but this was exceptional. The name is Ka-Mu-Panang. I also had a new dessert - made of coconut, bananas. and mango. Because it was a new item it hasn't been named yet - so we called it CoBango, the owners were also naming it different things and still no name when we left. Typical visit as part of the fun going there is feeling like going to family- the owners are very we;coming and family oriented. Love the place!“

“My all time favorite place for happy hour sushi! You just can’t beat their prices (and quality for the price) at about $5 per roll. Our go to HH order is usually: Tampa, Florida, Philadelphia, Mexican, spicy tuna, and the tempura salmon rolls. For apps the stuffed mushrooms are amazing but this time we tried the tnt mussels and they did not disappoint. I also typically order the lollipop roll but this time my friend ordered the scorpion roll and it was amazing! Definitely better than the volcano fyi. They also have bogo wine and beer during HH, but you have to wait until after 8pm for the sake to be bogo. Service is always pretty decent consisting of mainly a younger waitstaff. The noise level is pretty loud but much to be expected with the dining room being a large open space. For a quieter dinner I would suggest sitting outside, and if it happens to be chili out you can always catch me at the fire pit! Great place.“

“This place lives up to its name !! I am a sushi snob. I want my sushi cold and fresh and it was exactly that. The portion sizes are generous and the prices are awesome. I got a spicy crab roll with cream cheese and roe and it was to die for had to get more to bring home. My man got the sushi burrito it was excellent ( I had to take a bite.) I know good sushi and this place was excellent . The seating is comfortable, it was nice and cool and the manager was very professional and polite , all together a great experience , very happy to have a good sushi place close by. 10 out of 10 !! Keep up the good work dang good !! If you like fresh sushi , generous portions , great price , this is gonna be your place !! Yummy yummy ??“

It’s my 50th birthday and no one took the time to celebrate this milestone with me. So I came out to dine alone. I got there 5 minutes after last call for all you can eat crab was called. But I asked him to see if it would be ok with a manager since my friends bailed on me. I wouldn’t be chatting. Just crabbing. Lolol. He got the all clear. And kept me stocked. All the staff would walk by and wish me a happy birthday. And Smiley chatted with me throughout my meal so I didn’t feel so alone. And on top of everything else. They also blessed with with a ginormous piece of chocolate cake. And here I was thinking. I wasn’t going to get cake for my birthday. “I went here around 8 on a Sunday with my boyfriend who took me for my birthday, The service was great they were quick to take Plates and fill the glasses, The place looked nice too, but my one problem was the dessert so one thing they had was jello and I love jello but this jello was dry and tasted like it had been sitting also some of the fruit looked old and the cup with cream was basically just icing. But I really enjoyed the food it was delicious and they had a variety I ended up taking me a container home with me we will definitely be back. ❤️“

“This is our favorite all you can eat lunch spot. Although they have already raised the price twice since they started doing the all you can eat. It started ay $16.95, now it's at $20. We used to take the entire group there after preaching now only half of them come because they raised the price twice in 6 months. To me it's still worth it because I eat a lot and the food is really nice, fresh, and tasty.“
