I do understand this is a Hispanic place of business, but you guys need to hire someone that is bilingual to answer the phone. Called to place an order and the lady said no English and hung up the phone.

Amazing Frappe! Puerto Rican Cuisine!

The Hoop Report

I have been Puerto Rican for 43 years of my life. THIS PLACE IS SHAMEFUL TO OUR PEOPLE. It does not remotely represent our food. DO NOT EAT HERE!!

Love it

Went here with my dad—we’re both Puerto Rican, born and raised. Despite some bad reviews, we were pleasantly surprised.

Alcapurria and Queso Frito were excellent. The stuffed mofongo was one of the best I’ve had in Tampa, while the arroz con gandules tasted reheated. Prices felt a bit high for a casual Puerto Rican spot in Brandon.

Pros: Great appetizers, excellent mofongo, friendly service
Cons: Rice quality, slightly pricey

Overall, a solid meal. I wouldn’t go out of my way, but I’d return if I’m nearby. Grade: B+

The food in this place is amazing. It sells itself as it is puerorican base with great music. This place would do so much better with a service that’s next level. When you arrive those who work here act like they don’t need business and that’s really sad to see with a place that had so much potential. Tighten up the service and you will see a lot of clientele!

Being Puertorican You kind of expect food to be authentic and tastefully. The shrimp were the smallest I've ever seen and even worse COLD! the only thing I can say tasted good was the natural Juices.

You don't need to speak Spanish to enjoy this amazing service and food. The music is loud and fun the atmosphere is the vibe we search for here in Florida. We enjoyed every bit of the food. The easiest meal too enjoy. The pasta is made fresh in house!

Oh my gosh!!!!! I just came back from san juan and I was looking for mofongo and other puerto rican food. This place was EXACTLY what I wanted. The food 10/10. Authentic! Service was above great. They let me practice my Spanish as I ordered. I got trifongo which was the exact taste from a restaurant in PR which I was craving. Whoever is in that kitchen can cook! The asopao de gandules was perfect. I never had it before but this soup was what I imagined it. Now the prices were different than online but if you pay with cash it's less. But it was soooo worth it. Definitely recommend and im Definitely coming back!!! So happy this is in my area.

El Rico Frappé Latino – El Paladar Jíbaro is an absolute gem. The flavors are authentic, fresh, and full of that true Latin touch. Their frappés are delicious, perfectly blended, and not overly sweet. The food is packed with flavor and reminds you of homemade Caribbean cooking. Great service, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere. Definitely a must-visit if you’re craving real Latin taste. I’ll be coming back for sure!
