We have eaten at the Tides before and it’s always been okay, but it was not a great experience tonight. Our dinner reservation was at 8 pm. Our drinks took awhile, our salads took awhile and were served at the same time as our soups, and we were not served our entrees until 930 pm. I have an anaphylactic allergy to tree nuts, which we told our server, and asked for no walnuts on my salad but it came out with them still on it. We had a late dinner reservation (8pm). I think this had a lot to do with skipping our salad orders and going right to our main dishes. What do you do when your main dish comes before your salad order?
We had a fantastic time at The Tides celebrating my husband’s birthday! He loved his blackened mahi, which was perfectly cooked and served with mashed potatoes, green beans, and carrots. Krystina and I enjoyed the peppercorn filet topped with melted Gorgonzola and crispy shallots, paired with veggies. Our daughter, Maiya, also enjoyed her chicken tenders and fries.
