“This place is a really nice place to come satisfy some of that craving for authentic Dominican cuisine. We came here on a Sunday for lunch, and the place was just bustling with patrons. The wait was out the door with families waiting to be seated as the restaurant was packed to the max and all tables were occupied. We truly lucked out as I was giving the name to the hostess, two places opened up at the bar which I quickly snagged. The service at the bar was friendly and efficient, considering how busy they were at the moment. I ordered a mofongo with chicharron which was presented and beautifully plated. This mofongo had good taste and the chicharron was crunchy and well-seasoned. I do wish that this was served with a side of broth as the mofongo was drying up and the sauce on the plate was not enough to keep it hydrated. My wife had the sancocho soup which was also great-tasting. I would suggest that the meat in the sancocho gets cut in small chunks as it was too big and required you to take it out of the soup into a plate to be cut into smaller pieces. Overall since the place was so busy, there were a few hiccups not worth mentioning but were taken care of.“

If you want authentic Dominican home cook cuisine, I highly recommend this restaurant. It was our first time and it will definitely won't be our last. “Every time I have De Lo Mío, I feel like I am back home in the DR. They are a food truck located in Hialeah. Their service is incredible. They even know me by name when I call to order. They are over 30 minutes away from me, but I never hesitate to go when I'm craving some real Dominican street food. Their Picadera con proteínas is my go-to. They have different options for the protein and the sides for you to choose from. I always do Tostones with pechurinas (fried chicken), longaniza, carne de res, or cerdo frita. My mom loves their orejitas. When I'm craving a chimi, they are my go-to. They also have a special for chimis on Wednesday. I love their empanadas; they have an authentic Dominican flavor. Their empanada de pollo or pizza are my two favorites. Their Yaroas are excellent and very loaded. Their Rebulu fries are the perfect Dominican-style loaded fries. My family also enjoys their kipes. I can go on forever on what to try from them, but all I can say is that if you are looking for good flavor, quality, and feel of Dominican style food De Lo Mio is the place to go.“

All of the other Dominican restaurants I've tried just aren't the quality you would want from what our Dominican culture can offer. “Love this hole in the wall place have been coming for years . Friday and Saturday has a DJ they have hookah and food is always fresh. As many times as I’ve gone here I’ve tried everything my favorite is the mofongo with shrimp.Parking: Parking is easy just don’t park across the street .“

“We were looking for a Dominican food restaurant in Miami and found this place on TikTok. We ate some conch (Lambi) with arroz moro and some shrimp Mofongo. It was really nice. There was a dj playing dominican music, which made the experience even better! Whenever we come back to Miami we will definitely visit again.“

“Good food, mixed picadera, rice and beans, churrasco, can't miss. They only have one person taking care of everything and it is a little slow. The music a little too loud. The Sancocho is ok, it never has multiple meats. The beers are not that cold. There is never cake. Right there in front they wash the cars. There is plenty of parking.“

I lso ordered mangu con 4 golpes because I can't see it on a menu and not order it. When I say this is the creaminess mangu I've ever had I'm not even joking. Apologies to every dominican family member that's ever cooked for me and to myself. I have never had mangu this creamy. The onions were onioning. Even the salami and salchichon were good no gross hard bits or weird after taste. I got my husband the chicken milanesa with moros. He hates chicken but it was milanesa so I thought I'd give it a try. This man ate the whole thing. I am so impressed and so glad I found it. I just wish I had found it sooner. I can't speak to the actual service or atmosphere since we haven't bene there yet but I can't wait to go now. I will say I ordered it delivered to Aventura and when I got it everything was still warm fresh and delicious.“

I had the small ribs (pork?), my friend had the fried chicken.The portions were very generous!The drink prices were more than reasonable, but the drink I had (with their own label) was too sweet and marked (in English) that it's dangerous to your health. “I ordered 4 golpe a Dominican breakfast and I'm glad I got it here. The mangu nice and hot. I have hbp so I was worried about the salt in the salami and fried cheese. The salt in both very low... no doubt one of the best!! I definitely recommend. I will be back with my cravings lol ?????“

“I randomly drove by and decided to stop here. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and treated well. My Spanish is less than perfect but they made an effort, and gave great service. I was surprised with a sampler before my full meal came out, and I enjoyed as much as I could handle. Great place, great people, great food.“

“I read the negative reviews before I decided to give this place a try. I'm not sure what the negative reviews were talking about but my experience here was amazing. The food quality was wonderful and the customer service was great. I arrived at 6pm when they opened. I went with the two tender and fries combo number two. It was delicious. I love cheese so I added cheese on my tenders. I give this place a 10 out of 10. The experience was great. Highly recommended to everyone. Don't fall for the negative reviews.
