The most iconic restaurant in Wellington! Fabulous for having drinks at the bar, a dinner after work or a special event or celebration!!!! Food is outstanding...service is spectacular and the music and ambiance is refreshing!!!!! The red curry chicken is a definite go to...the handmade spring rolls are to die for and for those who love sushi, it is the best around!!!!
I have lived walking distance for over ten years, and never tired Kontiki until today for my Birthday, I wanted something different. I found them checking Google.
They are by far the BEST sushi spot that I have ever visited. Quality and service was superb. Bianca was our server and she was helpful, kind and accommodating. My new fav spot! You will not be disappointed!
Good food. Good drinks. DJ on Friday night. Jessie is a great server.

The service is spectacular, with talented staff who are kind and can brighten up your whole evening. While the drinks can be a bit pricey, the cocktails are delicious and the fun atmosphere with music makes it worth it. The restaurant can get a little noisy and crowded in season, especially on weekends with live music and DJ. Thursday is a popular ladies' night, adding to the lively and refreshing ambiance.
