Jerk Island Restaurant Reviews
Eating at that restaurant from 2003 ,open view of kitchen clean seating area, staff very courteous, food is is good >>
We are doing a Demolition job across the street and stopped in for some lunch. We are from Fort Lauderdale where there is not one good Jamaican spot a new one opens up every couple of weeks and it’s worse than the other so glad I found this place. the owner was at the counter, made some suggestions and hooked us up with some stew beef that was flavorful and the beef melts in your mouth. Highly recommended.
Great place good food.

Jerk Island Restaurant serves a mix of Caribbean-inspired dishes. While some meals may vary in quality, the oxtails, curry chicken, and stew peas are praised. The jerk chicken is a hit-or-miss, with one reviewer finding it overcooked and dry. To make up for this, the service is friendly, helpful, and outstanding, with a welcoming cashier and amiable kitchen staff. The atmosphere is cozy, with a small seating area. The cabbage is highly recommended, and the fried plantains are a popular side dish. The ackee and saltfish breakfast is freshly prepared and transforms mornings into splendid ones. With a talented chef, vibrant cuisine, and affordable prices, Jerk Island Restaurant is a hidden gem worth visiting.
