“This fruit cocktail is a total delight!
The combination of fruits is perfect, all very fresh as if they were freshly cut,
and the touch of papaya juice makes it super refreshing without being cloying. It shows that they do not add other sugars.
What I loved most is that it always arrives super well presented. You can see the love and dedication they put into it, because the fruits are cut just to the ideal size, ready to enjoy.
If you are looking for something delicious, natural and with that tropical touch that will brighten your day, and that will transport you back to Colombia...this salpicón is wonderful! I will definitely continue purchasing it and recommend it without hesitation.

“My cousin and I came here for dinner out of a whim so glad we did because it was so good. Melisa was the person who checked us out. She suggested us to half our burgers, and it was the best idea ever because I enjoyed both burgers did not know which one I liked more than the other the Dubai sauce also is to die for oh my gosh!!

The two burgers were The Golden and The Crispy onion.

“Surry Hills was so memorable I barely captured any photos or video, I just wanted to be in it. The space is calm and confident, and you can feel how intentional everything is, inside and out. Even the tiny things are dialed in, like the soap and lotion in the bathroom, and the specialty dog treats that make it feel genuinely welcoming. They’ve been recognized by The World’s 100 Best Coffee Shops, and once you sit down, you get why. 

Now the food and coffee. Their coffee is perfectly dialed in, smooth, balanced, and consistent, the kind of flat white that tastes like someone actually cared about ratio, texture, and temperature, not just speed. The almond croissant was flawless, soft and gooey inside, with that crunchy almond top that gives you the perfect snap in every bite. 

And then the savory stuff surprised me in the best way. The avocado toast has that super satisfying crunch and texture, and it tastes like a real Australian brunch plate, not the watered down version. The quinoa salad with chicken was a wow too, hearty but still fresh, with edamame, greens, seeds, and that dukkah vibe that makes it feel intentional instead of just “healthy.” They got it all right, the coffee, the food, the details, and the energy.

“We had a genuinely great experience at Ol’Days! The food was fresh, and the French toast was honestly one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Ignacio was an absolute gem! attentive, warm, and made the whole visit even better. Lately it feels like many places are overpriced with mediocre service and attitude, but this was the complete opposite. Excellent food, excellent service, and a good vibe. Easy A+. We even forgot an important item at the table, and we called 3 hours later and our waiter had set it aside for us in the back with his personal items. Great job!“

Taylor in particular, offers great recommendations whenever I come in, and has never steered me wrong in trying new flavor combinations. Mari took care of us and honestly the whole team was amazing — super friendly, attentive, and just great energy all around. The food was excellent as always; it’s a place we genuinely love and come back to often, even though we don’t usually take the time to write reviews.

We always say that when service is bad, people don’t hesitate to complain… so when it’s GOOD, it’s only fair to say it too. One thing we really appreciated was that we accidentally forgot to order the gluten-free wrap, and the team fixed it quickly without any issues or attitude. Little things like that make a big difference.

“I like this place! It’s a cute spot to go for a casual coffee and pastry/ lunch. I take my infant son with me to have our mommy-son lunch dates. The cafe has a good variety of foods and drinks; everything delicious. The only thing I would mention is that the cafe does have 2 high chairs, but neither of them have an appropriate seatbelt. The clasp is the same, not the opposite, to securely strap my infant into the seat. We managed, but he was extra wiggly and was moving all around in the high chair. It was difficult to feed him because he didn’t have the proper support to eat well. I would suggest fixing the seatbelts on both the high chairs. :)“

“I had a wonderful visit to The Melbean Coffee Shop and everything was excellent. The food was very tasty especially the Cuban sandwich and the steak sandwich we ordered. Both were fresh flavorful and satisfying with great ingredients. Service was quick and friendly which made the experience even better. Prices are reasonable for the quality you get. “It was a lovely first time visit. I am in the neighborhood and walk by it often, but this was the first time to actually go in. I would LOVE to give it five stars and it was ALMOST there. The atmosphere is lovely: clean a few nice outdoor tables both in the sun and in the shade. The staff was beyond nice: friendly warm and helpful. The prices were fair. AND THE COFFEE WAS WONDERFUL. I had the dark care mocha latte and it was smooth as proverbial silk. EXCELLENT COFFEE. It would have been perfect except I think I certainly ordered the wrong thing. I see people commenting on how good the pastries were. I am not a sweet person ordinarily, I like savory things. I ordered the chicken empanadas: MISTAKE. Now, I love empanadas. I have had them from Colombia, Argentina, Mexico and Ecuador. Sometimes they are spicy and sometimes a bit sweet (with onions and raisins) I like them all. This empanada was really bad. I am not joking. I cannot remember having a bad empanada. What as wrong: the dough was SO THICK. If you ever eat a real empanada, the dough is kind of thin and the filling full. This was all dough and so so thick that it was gummy and just all dough. The filling was meager and dry. Instead of juicy it was dried out chicken with no flavoring or sauce, just a slight taste of curry. The entire empanada was left on the plate after one bite. I love this adorable neighborhood place and I will be back. I am really not an injustice collector. I really wanted to be able to say five stars, instead of four or four and a half. As I said the atmosphere, service and coffee were top rate, but whoever made those empanadas should really find out how to make them. I will trust the other people who posted reviews and order one of the pastries next time. Sorry, but I really loved the time I spent here, but disappointed that the whole empanada was left on the plate. I am sure the pastries are a lot better.“

We discovered this gorgeous cafe walking by on the first morning of our trip to Ft Lauderdale and came here every morning after for breakfast. I love the New Yorker sandwich and my husband likes the Perfect Breakfast Sandwich. Their iced matcha and iced lattes are delicious and not unnaturally sweet. We grabbed some Cymbiotica vitamin supplements too. Juices are amazing.
We grabbed smoothies on the way to the airport. Service is fast and efficient.

“Rarely review. But had the best pasta dish I've ever eaten - rigatoni a la Norma - at this intimate, quiet gem near (but just far enough) from Las Olas. The owner even explained quality ingredients, how to make it at home and report back, though quite sure it won't taste this good. Excellent wines. Try any of their specials (the Norma) but also the lasagna Bolognese - the owners' regional specialty - or the Vongole, pizzas. And desserts - panna cottas and tiramisu. All made fresh 🙏“
