While the problem was not resolved, Tonya did everything she could think of to help me. Employees like her are very hard to find, and even harder to encounter from a customer service standpoint. “Stopped in on a whim one late afternoon because I was starving and wasn’t sure what to expect. I ordered the merguez sandwich and it was absolutely amazing. The add-on options were extensive, and while I waited they even gave me two complimentary falafel balls. The place was very clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. A true hidden gem of a hole-in-the-wall. I’ll definitely be back to try more items on the menu“

Now we live in St Augustine, but when we are in the area we always stop and take 2 full Monsters to go(they will sell them deconstructed as well, so they travel well on our 4.5hr trip back home). “My name is Barbara and for my birthday I wanted the original cheesesteak with cheese whiz. Charlie’s is the place we found in pompano, and they went above and beyond the call of duty. The sandwiches were hot and delicious. The bread was soft and the owners even bought me two balloons because I was celebrating my birthday with my family. There was eight of us they accommodated us like we were family. The owners even brought me balloons balloons who does that Charlie’s does that’s who they also offered us a dessert on the house, but my girls that joined me, brought me a cake and strawberry, so we declined, thanking them very much for their thoughtfulness, and we made sure that Every staff member got a piece of our dessert that we brought. We will be back for more cheesesteaks and we will tell everybody about Charlie’s. It’s the best thank you so much.“

Good to see the owner so involved in the day to day running of the business. Very hard to keep sufficient staff at many of the Coral Springs restaurants,(***hint: if you have any concern at any small local business, always ask to talk to the manager or owner before plastering a negative review…small businesses deserve our support and welcome the chance to make it right). Sometimes I will take a container of chicken salad home so I can enjoy it at my convenience. Btw, just tried the broccoli salad as a side…my new favorite, and I usually don’t even like broccoli! I met a very kind and willing man.You find a variety of empanadas, cachitos, tequeños, hallacas...
