“I was just looking for something casual to eat and I found this place. I really like the taste it’s not salty and not without flavor, though the chicken was a bit dry everything else was very well done and the staff was quick not talkative but I’m okay with that. Overall I like the place and recommend people who like Japanese food to come here!“

“Me and my daughter want it to try this place a while a go we finally did and so disappointing!!:the sushi where literally made for kid that's how small they where and actually there not cheap . We also ordered the dynamite roll wich is one of the signatures and suppose to be one of their best one , but to start with the description doesn't have any egg and the topping was egg made literally in a microwave honestly I didn't even try it since I returned was 16.95 for it.Naaa... We had also ordered Booba teas and our order was to go and had to wait 20!-25 mnts ..And the boba where done in less than. 3 mnts so we ask the lady to with put them on a freezer , well she took the ice out and gave us in the same drink. which I didn't wasnt a qualuty costumer service..JUST LIKE that unbelievable...I can say the lady was very nice and Friendly but the management or owners must get in top of a sushi chef and also get a different strategy for to go orders... We end up buying sushi in other place!!!“

“It was good, as a Food Reviewer, id have to say the best thing about their place is their fried rice, it's a mouth full of nostalgia, growing up we went to a place that made rice like this place and that alone made this place stand out for me, the Rice I give a 9/10, now the Steak, definitely was okay, but not something id write home about, 5/10, the atmosphere is nice for a small restaurant, the decorum is nice, although location is a bit lack luster placed right beside a laundromat and people walking in trying to take donations for candy while we were eating, 5/10. All in all, I certainly would eat here again just for the rice it self, ans would recommend for anyone that wants a real Japanese hibachi taste.“

“Really solid food quickly and for a good price! Got the steak hibachi with lo mein and was very happy all around!I also got a volcano roll. That was decent. I’d probably skip it next time, just cause the hibachi outshined so much.The guy at the counter was really nice too. He gave me the LO mein suggestion which I was very happy with.Only bummer is there’s no real dining area or atmosphere. So I suggest just plan on takeout here. Which the hibachi I’m sure would taste just as good as takeout.“

“This was the 5th or 6th time eating at Wakame. The sushi and hibachi has always been 5+. But the last time we were there, I service was just ok and we waited a long time for food and it wasn’t even busy. I will continue to go there as it is practically around the corner from us, unless service gets worse.“
