“The service was great and the sitting area was nice and cafe style. The coffee here the best so far that we have found in the city; still on the hunt.

The Acai bowl was smaller than what I noticed in the photos; the Acai is just a bit too watery and I recommend putting the Nutella on top as it was too rock hard between the cold Acai and granola.

Caribbean arepa was the nicest dish, followed by the pesto chicken pressed sub.

Don’t recommend the chicken and avocado arepa as it tastes like canned tuna and avocado.

Salads with were as expected with no dressing.

Overall was a good experience, average to above average with criticisms on serving the food a bit faster once made as the cheese had hardened a bit and using cups that aren’t chipped/ cracked.“

“Good Café With Great Coffee, But Empanadas Need Improvement

Café Don Juan is a really nice spot. The food was good, and the coffee is absolutely awesome — definitely one of the highlights of my visit.

The only issue I had was with the pastelón empanadas. I asked for a fresh one, but they gave me one that was reheated. When I went to the front to request a fresh empanada, I was told they don’t stay there more than three days. That’s exactly why I wanted a truly fresh one.

I hope they can improve the freshness or service around the empanadas, because everything else was great. Overall, still a good café with excellent coffee.“

“First time here and love the coffee/matcha. My husband got the dirty matcha and I got the americano with ube cold foam. Both were great! I got the americano without sweetness because I expected the sweetened condensed milk to be overwhelming sweet but it wasn’t (at least in the matcha). Will def be back! Love seeing this unique and high quality coffee matcha spots pop up in Orlando!“

“what an underrated gem. We got stuck in the area due to a thunderstorm and last minute activity cancellations. I really wanted a caffeine kick and this place popped up on google maps. Pinmel pretty much runs the show solo and does such an amazing job at it. He crafts each tea from scratch, lets you try a sample to determine if you like the flavor (versus some other places that make whatever they make and you just have to drink it) the boba quality is ELITE. the tea was so refreshing you can see I couldnt even control myself for a photo. Must visit!!“

“I went into this store early this afternoon to buy three beverages. As always, the menu is quite diverse and offered a great variety of beverages, both hot and cold. Also, as always, the barista/servers were very helpful, friendly, and professional. What made this particular visit stand out, however, was a young man named AARON. I saw him bringing supplies from the back of the store to the serving area and then go to other parts of the store where he meticulously wiped down and cleaned all the services where people’s food and cups might touch. I was quite impressed with his efforts. As a retired Judge, most of the young men that I had seen of AARON’s age were in court because they were either hurting someone, stealing from someone, or doing drugs. In this case, I saw a young man working during the holidays, making the restaurant comfortable for others. I went over to him and asked his name and told him how much I respected what he was doing. His conduct in the store was so different than the conduct that I was used to seeing exhibited by young men who appeared before me in court. In my opinion, AARON is a definite asset to this store.

“I have been coming to this location for the past few months and it has been a fantastic experience. Store manager Cameron and the staff the are extremely considerate and welcoming. Every time I walk in is like I am visiting an old friend. The store is clean, well run (I always get my order within a minute), and is a great place to stop by to get the day started. “We headed ourselves to Black Coffee Sunday morning to try out the new place in town. We’re brunch lovers so the bar is settled very high, let me tell you this place did not disappoint at all when all I can think of is “how to rate this place just 10/10” Starting off with the amazing service everyone there is willing to give, the owner he’s one of a kind and the fact that he was assisting the tables it is top notch! We had to order a few things from the menu since everything was so appealing. We did fresh juices (I do recommend the carrot orange 10/10) We did non-alcoholic lavander mimosas 100/10 For brunch we did Madame Croque Sandwich, Steak Omelette and Salmon Benedicts. Everything was mouthwatering, however the real showstopper was the grilled lettuce caesar salad. As a chef i’ve never tasted a salad so rare yet so flavorful before, so if you’re a salad person this is a MUST for you to try. 1000/10 wanted to take some home but that’s one of those plates to eat at the moment. Will definitely be repeating this place soon!!“

“I had the vegan brekkie sandwich with potato wedges and it was delicious. Whatever the kale was dressed with was fantastic, the bun was great, and the whole thing stayed together well. The potato wedges had a great (but heavy) seasoning on them and I don’t believe were deep fried (weren’t crispy) which is a plus. The also offered 2-3 pastry/sweets type options to go with your coffee! A bit pricey, but if you’re looking for a treat I recommend. Updated from previous review on 2026-03-04“
