“Stopped in yesterday to pick up some treats. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The beef empanadas were delicious. The triples and all the pastries, pasta frola and alfajores were absolutely amazing. Everything was very fresh and made with quality ingredients you can taste. It's probably a good thing that this place is a 30-minute drive for me or else I might be there every single day. Thank you for your wonderful effort and great service.“

“I liked this place right up until the police showed up. Still liked it after.

Two cruisers in the lot, a patron arrested outside, officers looking over everyone still in the room at this hour. I asked what happened. The regulars told me I did not need to know and did not want to know. I did want to know. That answer told me more than the real answer would have.

The night had already gone a little sideways. A guy at the bar asked me to buy him a drink and I did. Later I was sitting in my car and he came out, knocked on my window, and told me the bar was closing the register and asked if I wanted anything. So I went back in and picked up the drink that had been set aside for me. He immediately asked me for one more. I gave him the one I forgot about and left.

None of that is on the staff. The kava tender that night was excellent, works absurdly late, and did everything he could to make people comfortable. The room is genuinely nice too: a flower wall covered in handwritten petals, card games on the tables, real space to sit and talk. Early in the night I floated between conversations without working at it and met people whose perspectives I am still thinking about.

But at a kava bar the crowd is the product, and the crowd is amazing. Add the claw machine in the back that takes cards, sells you twenty six plays for twenty dollars, and is set so the claw cannot physically reach much of what is in the case, and the back half of this place feels like it is an arcade.

“I want to say thank you to the Barista who basically saved me from falling asleep my sugar was so low. She recommended a concoction (mentioned what was in it but I didn’t understand), but it’s the most perfect and energized and sweet and not too dairy creamy vanilla coffee I have experienced. Within minutes of my coffee and bagel I was back to normal and enjoying my drive . Thank you so very much stranger , you made my day!!!“

“Not all Starbucks deserve 5 stars anymore due to their service and consistency. But the ladies here on the day I came were so sweet and my coffee was perfect. I asked for a grande macchiato for myself and a tall cup of water to go with no ice for my pup while we were driving through on our way to Florida. The barista misread my coffee and accidentally made both in a tall cup. Accidents happen and she was apologetic and fixed it quickly and with a smile. This kind of customer service is hard to find anymore. It sounds so simple to just be kind for both ends doesn't it? I wish I remembered her name 😌 but thank you. Your simple kindness was appreciated.“

“If I can give a 10 star rating I truly would. Great customer service today. Ordered my usual cold brew with flavor as well as some muffins. Asked if they had my daughters favorite strawberry with sprinkles donut daughters favorite strawberry with sprinkles donut & they did not; However one of the employees went ABOVE & BEYOND to create a donut just for her. It was a beautiful blue donut with added sprinkles & she truly did enjoy it! I would like to thank the staff that was working today. I didn’t get names as I was in a bit of a hurry through drive through; however they need to get recognized truly. I am an autism speaks advocate that sponsors with Dunkin’ Donuts for over 5 years & I really appreciate this kind of service as my family & I purchase coffees & donuts daily for my family & friends. - Side note; I had a horrible experience the other day at a different Dunkin’ donuts that’s right by my house. I rather travel to this location DAILY. Clean, friendly & went above & beyond. I will be escalating this to corporate as well for the awesome positive feedback, as I am very satisfied.
