And the star of the show besides the great cooks was Pen! She was so awesome and sensor from her greeting at the door to her interactions with my two daughters. “We were greeted and sat immediately upon arrival. We ordered appetizer combo b, seafood pad thai, fried rice, pineapple fried rice, and the beef thai noodle soup. The servings are quite big. The food was served quickly but was fresh. The shrimp and the scallops in the pad thai were phenomenal! The staff was very friendly and restaurant was clean. I highly recommend.“

“This is one of the best Thai restaurants in the area! I have been coming here for almost 20 years and they have been consistently delicious each and every time! I’m a pad Thai enthusiast so I stick to that and it’s so good! All of the proteins are good! The spring rolls were tasty and fresh!! The atmosphere is typical for a home in the wall Thai restaurant and is cozy and traditional. The service is consistently great, friendly and fast so perfect for a business or casual meal! “I am gluten free and vegetarian and the staff was so helpful. If I had a question they promptly answered it and also gave me a dedicated gluten-free menu. I did not ask if there was a cross-contamination risk as I usually don't react to those. But I got the Panang curry with tofu medium spice and a Thai iced tea and both were great. I have plenty for leftovers too!“

“Tucked away and a Longwood shopping plaza, you’ll find one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve ever eaten at.

The restaurant was small, but had a great crowd for a Friday night. The service was great, friendly staff and they moved quick.

We enjoyed several items from their menu, and might have had the best Pad Krapow outside of Thailand itself.

“Most of the food was fantastic. I had pad thai, crab rangoons, summer rolls, and dumplings.

Pad thai was delicious and just the right amount of spice. Summer rolls were tasty and well put together - I got take out and they even wrapped them up in the box to keep them from sticking each other. Dumpling were great, too. Rangoons were sad little things. Small, mostly crust, and I'm not sure if there was actually any crab in them! That being said, the food was overall excellent, the service at the door was quick & friendly, and the price very reasonable (under $50 for 4 items, including the entree). I will definitely order there again, just won't be rangoons! 😜“

“I’ve been here for twice…the only times I’ve ever eaten Indian cuisine and loved every bite. From the look and taste of the Manchurian chicken , butter chicken and naan bread. You must visit and give your taste buds a new way to dance.“

He came by the table and made us laugh , poured extra and encouraged us to HAVE A GOOD TIME. The hosts worked the entire room and he paid special attention to us shy tables . The tag team made for a fun Sunday afternoon of music , dancing , and laughs .“

The quality at Wah Yoan is unmatched! We don't even live in the are anymore and I still send my husband 30 mins away to pick it up or willingly pay a long distance delivery fee specifically to get it from here. A problem I've had with other Chinese takeout places (besides quality in general) is the fried items always taste nasty like bad oil and chicken pieces are typically... odd. I'm very particular about chicken. At Wah Yoan though? I will eat an entire container of chicken without thinking twice! Their fried items are the absolute best as well. I love their egg rolls. It's hard to recommend one thing because actually everything is good, but I would say the honey chicken is a stand out! I will continuing spreading the Wah Yoan gospel, please never close shop!!“

“This is one of my favorite restaurants in the city, I would say everything is good, but I had the pad Thai once and then never got anything else because I just keep ordering it over and over again. All of the rest of the pad Thai in the city sucks compared to this place. Love the owners, they know mine and my boyfriend’s order by our faces 😭😅 Definitely a little bit on the pricey side, but the portions are really big. Atmosphere is lacking but the food is worth it imo. We’ll be back time and time again. “
