My five star rating is based upon what else is available in Fernandina. I’ve had all the other bagels in town and these are by far the best. When it comes to bagel stores, I’m not looking for atmosphere. I’m looking for a good product and quick service. Bagels Plus delivers on both. If you want exotic bagels with chocolate chips you gotta come early. The only suggestion I would have is to upgrade the coffee station with some better quality creamers.
We dined inside with my husband for an early Father's Day brunch. The food is pretty good, especially the breakfast sandwhiches. The customer service was a lot to be desired. I ordered a side of cream cheese but it was never rung up so it was never receieved. The way I was looked on upon when I asked and even offered to pay for it was nuts. I am hoping that it is a one off experience.
