“So one of the ladies is a little... verging on being unfriendly. But the fajita meat is tasty, burritos are big and yummy, the chicken quesadillas are tasty, and the breakfast burritos are large. Hours seem to be hit or miss on occasion with reference to their Google listing. But we've been there like 6 times over the last two months and only slightly because it's the closest restaurant to where we're staying...”

“I've been coming here for about 6 years and can say that I always have a great experience with yummy food. It's the cleanest restaurant in Hardee County and that is a plus! I enjoy all their Mexican and American dishes. Their hamburger and onion rings are delicious! And their quesadillas are the best I've had. It's a small town laid back family restaurant that you will get good food at and can bring friends sit and have a nice conversation. Bring cash, they don't take credit cards, but they keep their prices reasonable so I'm happy to remember my cash when I go.”

“Absolutely delicious. This is our favorite place to stop at when we drive up to Disney from Southwest FL. We almost always stop here every trip! They’re very nice inside, the bbq is next level good and the portions are great! The pulled pork sandwich is enough to feed my husband and I for lunch, it’s giant and so delicious! We also love their ribs and brisket as well. Overall, couldn’t recommend them anymore. I’m so glad we stopped one random day to try them, it’s my favorite thing to look forward too on a drive through Bowling Green 😍”

My very picky 11 year old even loved the food. The waitress recommended something for me to eat and was so kind. We can’t wait to come back and visit.”

“We were looking for a place to eat at after going around and doing work for our community as a church group over the summer. Food tasted amazing, rice cooked to perfection. They were so nice that they gave us some free tacos and drinks for the kids who forgot their wallets. I sadly didn’t get to take a picture of my steak quesadilla but it looked delicious.”

“We ate lunch. Baby back ribs (3), with lima beans, baked beans & banana pudding. Husband said they were all delicious. I got the club sandwich & slaw. The best club I’ve had & slaw had good flavor. Club even had ripe homegrown tomatoes which we didn’t think existed at restaurants in this area. 🤣 Big plus! We talked to one of the owners while paying for our $22 lunch! Natalie is a delight. She has obtained recipes from the past owners to maintain the locals patronage & satisfaction. Their lunch starts at 11 & most days are sold out before noon. So if you see a special advertised, get there early. I would advise trying it out for yourself before basing your choice to go or not, rather than deciding on someone else’s opinion. We all like different things. 🥰”

Opened my Luxe box and they included napkins, utensils and my sauces! That never happens at fast food so YAAAA Taco Bell Wauchula!

The staff was very pleasant and didn't pretend like they don't see you, like so many of the other fast food places (cough cough McDonald's 😆).

As for atmosphere honestly I think it was one of the cleanest fast food restaurants I've ever been in!”

“Being a pizza snob I generally prefer small mom and pop type pizza joints but I was proven wrong. My first time to Howie’s and I get the Detroit cup and char, great dough, crisp but light. The cheese wasn’t my fav but still good. Glad I’m in town for a few months”
