Hometown is the best word for this place. My husband loves the fried grouper sandwich with cheese. We made a special motorcycle ride out there from Bradenton this evening just to get it. We sprung for the extra $1 to get crinkle cut fries with it. I got a BLT which was good. I tried to get the bread not toasted but I guess the waitress misunderstood me. Prices are what makes it worth a repeat visit. Oh, people are nice too.
Don't let the exterior keep you from trying this little gem of a restaurant! Food was excellent, and it was full of locals which is always a good sign. I had the Athenian grouper, which was lightly breaded and pan fried. Delicious! My SO had a bacon cheeseburger, which was gigantic! A half pound patty, fresh, not frozen. He couldn't finish it! Homemade onion rings were fresh and not greasy. We'll definitely be back!

This is absolutely a hidden little gem. We fell upon this little spot tonight and felt like we walked into a family members home. It is a cozy lil spot, unpretentious and homey. My buffalo chicken salad was delicious, fresh and flavorful. We will return without a doubt. We met some lovely locals that engaged us in conversation and we left feeling so happy!
