Character's Famous BBQ offers a delightful dining experience with its great food. The mouthwatering barbecue, including the award-winning dishes, is the highlight, along with the exceptional baked beans. While the atmosphere may be simple, the focus is on the flavorful, saucy specialties that make this restaurant a local favorite. They have tons of positive personality. Their menu is limited but straightforward and easy. Customers can't go wrong with anything here, as they go hard in the paint on the sauce. The coleslaw is very good, and they hooked it up with bread and a slice of lemon cake. It was an incredible amount of food for the money. The three-meat combo plate was excellent, packed with care, and the BBQ sauce was still in its containers. Characters is a hole in the wall restaurant that is being slept on, but the sandwiches were excellent, oversized, and the portion of meat was more than generous and juicy. The service was simple and kind.
