We have lived in Albany, Ga 8 years and this is the first time we ate here. The reason why is because we were told it was a bar and customers could smoke. We don't smoke or drink, so this is the reason we never stopped in. Well, We were riding by, and my wife said, Pull into the parking lot and let her walk in and check it out. Great service and fast delivery of food. Food was all right, but not worthy mentioning. Old, dated and uncomfortable dining tables, chairs and booths. Ate here once about 14 years ago. Nothing has changed.
I was hesitant when we arrived and impressed when I left. The seafood was exceptional for local caught, fresh food. The online description is right on. If you like good fried seafood, slaw, grits, and hush puppies in a pub setting, this is it. If you're looking for fancy, keep looking. The service was great and food was delicious!
