We went for dinner and no one was there, was a bit of a wait till someone checked if there was any customers. Really good brisket tho, the sides were eh but still pretty good overall.
Interesting dive but so much more than what you see. We are new in town and didn’t want the usual chain foods so we stumbled upon Tamez. They are super nice people and the service was pretty fast. The atmosphere is probably a lot more fun when it’s cooler and UGA is back in session. I was excited when I asked if the breakfast burrito was available all day and she said yes! I got the brisket egg and cheese burrito and I gotta say it was absolutely the best I’ve ever had!...
This cute little place,s breakfast burritos will blow you away. A must visit in Athens bbq. Friendly hardworking staff as well. I'll have more to say when I go back for lunch or dinner
