I came here last night for my birthday. It was a party of 5. We sat upstairs but I thought it was a bit strange that the hostess didn’t walk us to our table and instead described which table it was upstairs that we were supposed to sit at and left us to go upstairs from there. The bartender served us and the service was great from there and he was very attentive all while serving the guests at the bar. We were a party of 8 that came with no reservation on a busy holiday weekend. The maitre d estimated a 45 minute wait to be seated and we decided to stay. We were given updates about every 15 minutes and indeed got seated by a very pleasant waiter right @ the 45 minute mark.
The waiter was very knowledgeable and the food came out soon after we ordered. Everyone agreed that the food was fantastic!

We got lucky last night and discovered The Place! Love the small intimate setting. Last night was quite busy and we did not have a reservation. Fortunately, our hostess checked upstairs at the bar and found 2 open seats! We both got the grilled chicken & pimento cheese sandwich (it was great!) and I got grits on the side. Got to enjoy some college football on the tv's. We got some top shelf service from Alex at the bar, thank you! We will be back! I highly recommend The...
