Ordered a meat lover's pizza. Not exactly what I expected, but nonetheless it was good.
This place is a must eat when I’m in the Atlanta area. I loved the Chicken Pesto and now it’s part of my official monthly cravings.
Rahel is the 1 she super friendly and kind! And the pizza is yummy as well and super close to my home I think the only good pizza on the west end! Thank God

Black Pizza Bankhead is a restaurant that offers turkey pepperoni pizza, lemon pepper/bbq wings, and other pizzas. The food is really good, and the customer service from the staff is excellent. The environment is very clean, and the atmosphere is good. The staff is friendly and nice. The pizza is hand tossed and described as the best pizza in a long time. The prices cannot be beat, with a medium sized pizza that looks like those franchises' large. The turkey pepperoni pizza with the pesto base was just okay when it had cooled down, but would be much better fresh and hot out of the oven. The pesto base was a nice touch and gave it a different flavor than a traditional pizza. There is potential, and it is worth another try when it is fresh. Several different pizzas were AMAZING. One visit was excellent except the turkey roni did not have much on the pizza. A return visit asked for LG turkeyroni added ground beef, but it seemed like ground beef add turkeyroni. They do not give many turkey pepperoni, and the pizza was dry. Because it is black owned, there will still be a return and telling ppl about it, but please put more sauce and turkey pepperoni on the pizza. All in all, it is good pizza. Pizza, wings, and drink are 100/10. It is worth it, and there are regulars now.
