Dawa Restaurant

So I just ordered beef and broccoli, shrimp dumplings (steamed) n wonton soup. It was delivered. It took an hour for them to get to me which I wasn't trippin bout cause they said it would be that long. After being so hungry and haven't eaten all day I'm disappointed. The beef and broccoli is mainly broccoli and has a sour taste to it. The rice the gave me is dry and a little hard. The dumplings are ok. I can eat it and the wonton soup I got is good. When I first looked up Dawa I was hesitant because the building and location seemed sketchy to me. But I am so glad I tried it anyways! Dawa has become one of my favorite restaurants; I eat there so often now. I usually order the Teriyaki Chicken Bowl or the Shrimp Lo Mein and I have never been disappointed. The food is wonderful and you get a pretty good serving for the price. It's best to call ahead and place an order for pick up.

Delivery took over an hour and a half. Ordered general tso's chicken and was actually kind of frightened to eat the chicken. No sauce, it was cold etc. my miso soup however was fantastic. Only reason it didn't get one star. All in all, completely avoiding this place next time. I'll stick with burger joy. Way more consistent.
