Not what I expected. It felt more like a hotel sports bar rather than a French bistro. This was because we were seated across from the bar with big TVs showing ball games. The food was ok. My portions were very small. I had expected several asparagus spears, but there were just a few small slices of stalks added to the pasta. I was mostly disappointed because I had anticipated a different atmosphere. This said the service was exceptional from our server and the Maitre'D.
First time going here and we enjoyed it quite a bit. The food was great for the most part, but I didn't enjoy how they prepared the snails or presented them still in their shell. Otherwise we enjoyed everything, especially the French onion soup, white bean soup, brie en croute, cheese selections, fresh bread. The ambiance was lively with a great singer, but there were some obnoxious drunks making fools of themselves in the bar area and that kind of took away from the experience....
This was our 2nd visit to F&B and I'm so glad we went back! There were 4 of us, and every entree was absolutely perfect. I had the octopus, which I was a bit nervous about ordering. I saw great reviews, so I figured why not? It was truly one of the best dishes I've ever eaten! The salmon melted in your mouth and flank steak was cooked perfectly (said my very particular friend) I highly recommend F&B Atlanta
