“Parking was tight, but the friendly bartender gave us good information on where to park nearby. Lance our server made us feel right at home. The beverages were refreshing and the food was hot, fresh and delicious. The staff had a good teamwork vibe. An enjoyable experience for these outta towners!“
“OK, I gotta tell you everything was perfect. Crispy fresh catfish on creamy delicious grits. The omelettes were crazy, seafood, omelette, oxtail omelette, deviled eggs. It was the perfect meal. The music was jumping. The place has a vibe of happiness and if you not with being happy, this is not the place for you. I stopped to compliment who I thought was the manager and it was the owner. Slinging plates, busing tables, seating people. What a humble brother. I wish you every success. Oh, and our server was just lovely.“

“Trivia here is always fun and top notch! Kippy and his team are great bartenders that serve smiles and heartfelt welcomes and not just great drinks. Candace and Betsi were superb in their roles as twin sirens of Monday night trivia and karaoke.“
“I can’t say enough good things about Mary’s—this is hands down one of the best dive bars I’ve been to in a long time. The energy, the inclusivity, the overall vibe—everything about it was perfect. It’s a cozy space, but even on a Wednesday Mary-oke night, I never felt overwhelmed by the crowd. Just the right amount of people, great energy, and a balcony out back if you need a breather (or a smoke).
What really sets Mary’s apart is that it truly feels queer—not just a “gay” or “lesbian” bar, but a space where everyone in the community is welcomed and celebrated. That’s a rare and beautiful thing, and I absolutely loved it.
Unfortunately, we did have a moment where a man was harassing my friend and me, but the bartenders and so many others at the bar had our backs immediately. They handled it so well and made us feel so incredibly safe—which is exactly what a queer space should be.
And of course, the karaoke was amazing (apologies if my Talking Heads performance hurt anyone’s ears!). The drinks are also super reasonably priced, which is always a plus. We took an Uber, so I can’t speak much on parking, but there does seem to be some available out back if you’re driving.
I hate that we don’t live in Atlanta because I’d take Mary’s with me everywhere if I could. If you’re in town, you HAVE to go—the vibes are immaculate. We’ll absolutely be back next time we visit!
Oh, and they have Mrs. Pacman which is a bonus, and a really cute photo booth!“

“Next level show by the queens. Aspen, Aqua and the rest of the cast were hilarious, talented and just outstanding all around performers. The queens here work the room, one of the best shows I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to a lot of drag shows. Bartenders and music were on point. Love this venue. 10/10“

“Blake is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and very professional—the restaurant is spotless, and the service is superb. The oysters were unbelievably fresh and tasty, some of the best I’ve ever had. Hands down, everything was excellent.
I enjoyed my first visit so much that I went back the very next day with my daughter for lunch, and she loved Blake just as much as I did. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who took the time to ensure our experience was pleasant—which it absolutely was.
Blake has quickly become one of my favorite spots, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food, great service, and a beautiful dining experience.“
“CAUTION: Must read. To new specialists operating MRI’s. Don’t be over confident. DO NOT rely only on an individuals weight as trained by company sales staff. That’s only to ensure the sliding table doesn’t break down. PLEASE include the USE of a clothing measurement tape to ensure an individuals size doesn’t exceed bore limit including comfortability. PLEASE SLOW DOWN and be more mindful of this because SQUEEZING an overweight individual into a standard bore MRI ADDS WEIGHT to the slider adding risk of breaking while stuck inside the tube. MRI machines come in standard, wide bore, and open MRI. BE SURE TO TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR ABOUT THIS PRIOR TO SCHEDULING. I’m older in my 50’s and larger than I use to be. Without checking my waist size they shoved me in nothing to it only I felt like I was squeezed in. ZERO movement. A formal firefighter and a 100lbs lighter I’ve been in similar situations with more gear. Maybe I’ve grown more claustrophobic in my later years. I never had a second thought to get in and go with it. But once I was pinned in about 10 minutes later I found I couldn’t breath well, I became dry mouthed and any mucus felt like it was getting caught in my throat. I found myself beginning to panic and make things worse. As a former EMT I’m here to warn you these tables are fragile and do break. Mostly do to weight of an individual, but stuffing a fat body into a standard bore is very very bad idea.“

“The monday night show was amazing a must watch all the entertainers did a wonderful job and looked great. I love coming here whenever I'm in town visiting
Parking: I had a handicap tag which means you park for free. Came out was given a boot and told i had to pay 75 to have it removed. The boot company refused to remove it even after showing them the state laws and providing proper information. Thanks to the 911 call and the lady officer who called the company and got it removed. Even the officer said they are a rip off. Taking people money just because they feel they can. And hoping people don't complain or take action.“

“Enjoyed my time here at the start of the bar crawl. The space was not very big for the event, but as people were transitioning in and out it all worked out. There are two bars here separated by a short wall. Then, another area on the side where you can place food orders. You had a direct view into the kitchen from this area. It was a little more quiet over there; at least out of the way of the larger crowd. We had a chicken sandwich (that tasted like fish because of the tartar sauce) and a breakfast quesadilla. That quesadilla was everything. It was flaky and cooked to perfection. It could have used a little seasoning, but it wasn’t bad at all. The mimosas were good too. My favorite was the cranberry. The other two flavors didn’t taste flavored at all; just like champagne. The bartenders were so nice and they worked fast. The young lady serving food was nice too; and they had her serving all those people alone. She stayed poised the e tire time. There is a parking lot right outside the building, but it’s not very big. Street parking is available though. The restrooms here were super cute and super clean. I’d go back here sometime.“

“I love this spot. The drinks cool priced, the chicken cool not as good as ut use to be tho but its aight. Since it is the only lesbian spot in midtown I wish they had a more urban night with older lesbians. Like a grown and sexy night every once in a while. 35 and up night. But yea, oh and they need to let me do volunteer security on them real popular night where its a arm and leg to get in cuz nahh I ain't paying the 5 in my Martin voice🤣“
