Hal's "The Steakhouse" offers an outstanding dining experience with superb service and delectable cuisine. The restaurant has been in business for a long time, and it shows through the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the consistent quality of the steaks, fish, and Creole-influenced dishes. Customers praise the incredible service by the team of waiters, with recent guests highlighting the amazing servers, Eddie, who made their experiences memorable. The inclusion of gratuity on the final check is a welcome addition. The entire wait staff is attentive to every need, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food is wonderful, with more than ample portions. The Chilean Sea bass and roasted chicken entree are highlights, as is the fried lobster appetizer. Diners consistently note that the steak is cooked perfectly and everything ordered is delicious. The calamari and tiramisu were favorite dishes. The swordfish steak au poivre, New York strip au poivre, mashed potatoes, asparagus, lobster macaroni and cheese, and turtle cheesecake were also enjoyed. The lamb chops were thoroughly enjoyed. The steak is one of the best ever had, with temp, sauce and presentation all on point. The efficient staff provided excellent service. The food was amazing, moving Hal's up into the top 2 steak restaurants. This is a favorite steakhouse, with many customers deciding to return more often than just for special occasions. Hal's is recommended for an evening out with friends or co-workers, while enjoying fine dining.
