“Local takeout only spot. I like to support our community and at least give places a try.
I got the curry lamb. It came with biriani rice and was actually really good.
I also got the curry burger. I saw a review and love curry. But don’t worry it’s not overpowering. I liked the burger but not a fan of the bun. If you like soft buns you will love it. But it was a little too soft for me. But still I would get it again.
I got the Mac and cheese and also Nan. They were both different from what I’m used to. But the place isn’t a restaurant so I understood. I did put the Nan in the air fryer and it was really good crunchy with the lamb curry.
Initially I didn’t like the Mac and cheese that much . But I ate it the next day and i liked it. So just aware it might not be what your used too.
The fries were ok but my mom liked them.
Overall I would definitely go back. Especially if I want something quick and don’t want to drive anywhere.
I would say give it a try. Not only are you supporting the community. The food is decent. Looking forward to eating the other things in the menu.“

“I ordered via DoorDash pickup. I had issues getting to the restaurant by the time my order was ready. When I finally got there, they had my food in a warmer so it was still hot when I picked it up. This alone already made me really like them because most of the time you would get cold food by the time you're home. Since we were staying in a hotel and have no microwave I was very thankful. Everything was packaged well. I got the chicken Tikka masala with jeera rice and the spicy chicken add on. The Tikka was on par with my favorite place back home and the spicy chicken had a green chili type of sauce on it and it was fantastic. If you like spicy and good flavor, I highly recommend it. Gave me a tingle of a burn but didn't linger which was nice. I also got the paratha bread which I have never had before and it was delightful. I would almost compare it to a croissant but flat. Very flaky and buttery and went extremely well with the chicken. 10/10 Thank you Sankranti for making my visit to town just a little more special.“

“On 10/17 my coparent and I had lunch here. Everything was phenomenal. The food was hot and flavorful. The service was impeccable, they even offered us complimentary tea (one of my favorites!). The atmosphere was great. We will definitely be back, again!!“

“We got the dinner for 2 and WOW at the amount of food we got. The service was absolutely phenomenal and very thoughtful. When we asked for to go boxes our server thought out what we had left and selected perfect containers for everything. We enjoy hot food, we got the hot level of spice and it was perfect. I would not have gone hotter. Even the water was good! We will 100% be back. Unfortunately it is not letting me add the pictures, but HIGHLY recommend.“

“This place offers the best chicken wrap and fries combo on Buford Highway. Add a drink, and the combo comes to $15, which is a pretty good deal for lunch. The chicken is halal, and everything is fresh and made from scratch. It’s flame-grilled first and then pan-stirred, making it very well done. It’s the best option for students and immigrant working folks who love to eat quality food and skip the talk.“

“The food was hot, flavorful and delicious. I got the chicken biryani and my husband got the chicken vindaloo. The chicken in my dish was really tender. The only thing I wish it had was some vegetables because it’s basically just chicken and rice. I’ll definitely eat here again.“

“The food was very delicious—but we were overcharged for a few items—didn’t notice until we got home (we were driving through the area). I tried multiple times contacting the restaurant with no success—so this made our experience less than wonderful. Watch what you are charged afterwards“

“Tabla is a quaint, upscale Indian restaurant in the heart of Midtown, serving great fare at decent prices. We absolutely loved the Samosas, Truffle Parmesan Naan, and Lamb Rogan Josh. All three of these items were perfectly made and were simply bursting with flavor! The Chef’s Specialty items come in great portion sizes as well. Our orders came out promptly, and one can even see the chefs making the food through a window into the kitchen!
If anything, I was highly disappointed to see that a $7 order of Lacha Paratha only provides one piece of bread. Additionally, our waiter was condescending when we inquired about what select menu items were, which made me feel a bit embarrassed to ask questions.
Overall, though, this is a solid spot to get really nice Indian fare, and I’d be happy to return to try more of their items!“

“The chicken vindaloo was delicious, and the perfect level of spicy. The garlic naan was fantastic as well. Service was quiet, professional, and friendly.
I was here when they opened so it was pretty quiet, but I could see it being very busy on a Friday night.
Will definitely be back.“
