JJ's Rib Shack is a beloved BBQ joint that serves up amazing 'cue, with portions that are generous and worth the wait. This small business has been a local favorite since 2004, known for their grilled-to-perfection BBQ, which is touted as the best in the city. The ribs are very good, very tasty, and the smell is out of this world. While service can be slow, taking about an hour at times, the excellent food makes the wait worthwhile. Be prepared to wait, especially during peak hours, but trust that the food, including the rib tips and the best sauce ever, will make it all worthwhile. They only accept cash, and while the atmosphere may not be spectacular, there is a parking lot with free parking, though it can be packed.
