After arriving from an international trip, was excited to get some French fries and a Coke. The young woman taking my order was polite but new and didn't understand the ordering system. Our order was completely wrong. The kicker for me is that when they called my order number, I picked it up for the counter on the right side of their counter. When I inquired about my drink, they aggressively told me it would be at the drink station on the left side of the counter. I had to wade my way thru the crowd to pick up a drink and I had to tell the manager three times what it was. Why can't you have the food and drink pick up in the same area? Plus even though it was busy, employees were on their phones including the managers. Hard to work and keep your personal life on track?
I ordered 1 small cheese burger, 1 small fries and 1 small coffee. I got 2 cheese burgers, a large fries and no coffee. When I said that’s not what I ordered the man said to me you’ve got two cheeseburgers what’s your problem? I said that’s not what I ordered. Fine he said and reached into my bad and pulled out a cheese burger and said you have a blessed day while another customer laughed. I had just had a nice holiday and his attitude was so upsetting. Many of you may think hey you got way more than you asked or paid for but I didn’t want to eat two cheeseburgers and I didn’t want to waste food. I had no idea it was a special as that was offered on the receipt.
I had a very disappointing experience with a McDonald’s employee during the early morning shift at the Concourse A location in Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport. Around 6:00 AM, the cashier working the front counter was exceptionally rude and unwelcoming to every customer she interacted with. She made no effort to greet anyone and instead rolled her eyes and scowled as customers placed their orders. Her demeanor was not just unprofessional—it made the environment uncomfortable. The cashier, who appeared to be around 23 or 24 years old, brown-skinned, approximately 5’3” to 5’5”, seemed disinterested and irritated. When I attempted to place a simple order for a large coffee, she abruptly walked away to the next register without acknowledging me. After waiting for her to return, I finally said aloud that I’d like a large coffee with cream. She pointed in the direction of the cream and curtly said, “It’s over there,” without any further communication. At 6:00 in the morning, this kind of attitude sets a negative tone—not just for the customers, but for the team. If she was having a rough start to her day, it might have been better for her to switch roles and assist with filling orders rather than being the face of the counter. Customer service is foundational to any business—especially one as iconic as McDonald’s. If I were running a billion-dollar company, this employee would not be the representative I’d want as the first point of contact for my brand. Travelers and early-morning customers deserve courtesy and professionalism, regardless of the hour. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses it appropriately to improve the customer experience at this location.
The food was good. Actually did love my biscuit it was the server. I walked to the counter to be ignored. Asked her if I could make my order and she just stared at me. I asked her again if I could order and again got a blank stare with a side order of rolling eyeballs. So I made my order and she still stared at me. I had to ask for my total and guess at what she said. She threw my change at me and continued to stare. I had to ask for my receipt. It was by far the worst service I have ever received from a McDonald's. Tried to call and got an answer but then they hung up without so much as a hello.
My daughter and I had missed our connecting flight in ATL on Martin Luther King Day and decided to grab McDonald's before they closed. The self-service kiosks were not working and the gentleman working the register, Devon, was incredibly patient and helpful. The soft drink dispenser wasn't operating properly and the other workers in the back were not assisting as I would have expected them to have been doing. Devon kept his composure and continued to calmly assist customers even with the situation growing worse. He eventually had to stop taking customers, a great decision, and also had to start making the orders because the other workers just seemed to stop working. Devon was a class act in a situation I wouldn't wish on anyone. He was a shining star in what otherwise would have been an epically horrible experience. As a retired military officer I can attest that Devon single handedly kept that restaurant running that night. Whatever service or company that is running these airport branches need to find replacements for the rest of the workers and give Devon a much deserved raise and/or promotion.
My husband and I stopped at this McDonald’s during our layover. While waiting 20 + minutes for our food, the staff was goofing off, on their phone and also sweeping then going to handling food without washing hands. After waiting for 20+ minutes, our order was not complete (missing sandwich) and when we went back to get the missing item, had to again wait 10 minutes and they refused to give us new fries as the ones we previously were given were cold. Terrible service and staffing. Will be reporting to health department as well for their unsanitary habits.
This McDonald’s across from gate A10 needs to be bombed along with its extremely rude and it’s got to be said disgusting employees. This place has got zero organization, it has to be a health hazard and the food is just awful. I had to go back and ask for my BBQ sauce. I showed them the receipt for 6 and only got 4 then I had to wait another 15 mins for the other 2. Getting the drink along with my food was extremely challenging. All I wanted to do was to scream at the top of my voice and let people in the airport know
Staff are incredibly rude and unhelpful
An absolute cluster f*ck, the staff couldn’t possibly be any slower
Worst service ever. The employees were lazy and didn’t want to make drinks or get ketchup for anyone. Additionally, they were unfriendly, and McDonald’s should be ashamed that they allow places like that to operate in their name. None of the employees had our name tags and because they’re located in airport, they think they can treat people rudely and it’s OK. It’s not.

This is by far the WORST McDonalds I’ve ever visited! The staff have 2 speeds, slow and really SLOW. The little gremlin on the till was rude and dismissive and should not be working in any role that requires customer service. There was a lack of dipping sauces and all the soft drinks were flat due to no C02. The kitchen and general area was FILTHY and could do with a deep clean. Food was bang average and cold. They should do us all a favour and either fire all the staff or shut up shop. Finally they had no Dr Pepper!!!…Get me back to London.
The food was terrible! I ordered a fish with cheese no tarter and it was cold and had a horrible taste. I saw them cooking hot fries, but for some reason, I got the cold and half cooked fries! This is the worse McDonalds I have ever visited! They need to either get a totally new staff or close up! You can’t feed people just anything when they are spending their money! Totally disgusting. I threw my food in the garbage. My daughter was meeting me at the airport, I got her some nuggets and fries, so I decided to taste the nuggets before she arrived, they were disgusting. A total waste of $20.00
We were ordering at Gate A12 McDonald’s kiosk. It was a nightmare. The staff was rude and dismissive to the customers. The staff were “scolding “ customers for ordering food items that were listed on the kiosk as “available”. How were we supposed to know what they DIDN’T have (which was just about everything). No soft drinks, no coffee items, no specialty drinks. When customers asked questions, they were greeted with “this is the last time I’m going to tell you this“! One of the workers was upset because the customers asked her to hand them an orange juice. She said. “I can’t believe these people can’t reach over the counter and get their own orange juice”! What in the world??? These “customers” are paying your salary! Sorry we inconvenienced you!
Ordered a basic egg McMuffin meal at concourse E and walked back to my gate in concourse T, only to find out my bag didn’t even contain the egg McMuffin. Check your bag before you walk away!
