Most sushi resteraunts don't impress. This was actually really fresh and good.

I ordered 3 rolls to go : shrimp tempura , spicy tuna , and spicy shrimp roll. The shrimp tempura roll came with mixed salad inside instead of avocado which was a very off putting texture and appearance. Now let’s get into the spicy rolls. The spicy shrimp roll barely had any shrimp but instead was filled mostly with some binging agent that gave it a really mushy texture that made inedible. They seem to add their own spin on these traditional rolls that I don’t find appealing

I've been coming to this location for almost two years consistently, sometimes once a week for lunch. The woman who usually works the register is so RUDE. She's always on her phone and rarely speaks or greets me when I walk in. I'm so tired of the service I get here, I won't be going back again. The sushi is decent but there's so many sushi places in Buckhead with good sushi and actually good service.

I recently walked in with a large group of 8 and we were sat right away! Everyone loved their food - the tofu pad Thai is really good. Leaving a review mainly because the service is amazing!! Danny is very very kind and went out of his way to help find and print my receipt days later! Overall great experience.

Quick and friendly service! Stopped by for dinner one evening during our Buckhead stay. We enjoyed our sushi and the kiddo’s beef lo mein was tasty! Super Crunchy roll was my favorite.

I had a great experience at Nova! The general vibe is your typical casual sushi restaurant, which is exactly what I expected. We had the crispy rice, seaweed salad, various rolls, and the sesame chicken. The sesame chicken was veryyy good and I would definitely order again. The rest of the food was also great. They did not have the greatest wine/drink options, but that was kind of expected for a casual sushi place. The actual restaurant atmosphere was kind of bright, nothing exciting, so you wouldn't miss out if you just got takeout! But overall, the food was great and I would recommend for anyone looking for sushi or asian food in the Buckhead area.

Our server wasn't very pleasant. No wonder they auto grat an 18% tip on every ticket. The food? Disgusting. White sauce taste horrible, the steak is BEEF TIPS, the ranch was rancid, just NOTHING GOOD ABOUT IT. A waste of money and space for a Japanese restaurant. Not what I expected.

Decided to come to this buckhead location and this was my first time and will be my last. Service was horrible, my server took so long to greet us, she barely said a word to us, she pre-bussed my plates while I still had food on it and even rushed me to pay for my check. Just an awful experience! If you are able, go to the midtown location instead.

Ada was amazing!

Very obvious that brown skinned people are not welcome here. Service use to be good but now they smile, grin, and welcome caucasian patrons only, and made me and my wife feel very unwelcome. I addressed the staff because it wasn’t right how we were treated. Very racist establishment….I do not recommend. If you still go, you’ll see. Just beware!

Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. The service felt biased and unwelcoming. I noticed a clear difference in how Black customers were treated compared to white customers. Our table received slower service, less attention, and a noticeably colder attitude from the staff, while nearby white customers were treated much more kindly and attentively.

On top of that, the restaurant automatically added a gratuity for a party of only two people, which felt unnecessary and was never clearly explained. Given the poor service we received, this only added to the frustration.

Dining out should feel welcoming and respectful for everyone, regardless of race. Sadly, that was not the case here. I will not be returning and would not recommend this place to others, especially people of color!!
