The flavors at Phở King are excellent and very authentic to the Vietnamese standard; in my opinion, this spot ranks just behind two other places in Boston but clearly outperforms the rest. The owner is very friendly and cheerful! The iced coffee with condensed milk is also delicious.
However, they serve the noodle in plastic bowls—likely due to local custom—whereas I personally feel that piping-hot dishes like noodle taste better when served in ceramic bowls.

I really enjoyed the pho here for lunch. Nice tender pieces of chicken. They have a toppings bar so you can add in what you want. Quite a bit of seating between the main floor and second floor, and the atmosphere is inviting.
The bowl was smaller diameter but a bit deeper - felt like the portion size was smaller for what you pay for. Self serve condiments on the left side. More like cafeteria style with paying at the counter first. They did apologize for my order taking longer to come out. The broth and noodles were good, not great. Skimped on the classic beef ingredients.
