We love sushi and had eaten at all the nicest sushi restaurants in Atlanta except for this one, so we decided to try it. We had the premium omakase and it was AMAZING. This was both of our favorite experience - usually I prefer more fun and flavorful rolls (ie like Eight) and my husband likes his sushi more pared down (ie Tomo, Nobu, Mujo), but the sushi struck the perfect balance of letting the fish shine without being boring, adding a hint of flavor to enhance. The Mizuna apple salad was good, but the other dishes were just okay. The ingredient combinations didn’t offer much surprise. For the price point, we expected a bit more creativity.
$170 omakase, but the dishes are served one by one at the table. So if you're looking for an omakase experience, don't come. But the upside is that you can focus on chatting with friends.
