Taqueria La Carreta is a restaurant with great food, great service, and great prices. The beef fajitas come as a very generous portion of steak with grilled red and yellow bell peppers and onion served on a piping hot, sizzling skillet. The smell is absolutely tantalizing, the steak is tender, and the vegetables are grilled to a perfect consistency. It is served with rice, beans, lettuce, tomatoes, a fat grilled jalapeno, and three flour tortillas. The chicken mole enchiladas are very good, packing a good level of spice and tasting more on the authentic side. The carne asada tacos are the best authentic Mexican tacos, with tortillas that taste so fresh, and a reasonable price. The Quesabirria comes with a bowl of juice to dip the tacos in and is very flavorful. The atmosphere is a normal storefront vibe due to its corner location, with seating by the bar and upstairs. The servers are very polite and check on customers a lot. The restaurant is clean with pleasant traditional music. It is a very hole in the wall ish spot in a large strip mall area with some seating outside. The bar is not a fully stocked bar.
