The Optimist is a vibrant spot with great energy. The swordfish and halibut were perfectly done, while the smashed potatoes were a hit. The roasted oysters and cocktails are exceptional, especially the Old Fashioned and Belvedere martinis. The service can be a bit rushed at times, but the friendly staff make up for it. The hosts and staff are lovely, and the food is always top-notch. Despite a slight wait, the manager made up for it with complimentary drinks and appetizers. A must-visit for any occasion, with a great happy hour deal.
