I had an extremely disappointing experience at this location. I was served food that was RAW and OLD, which ultimately led to my hospitalization. When I initially noticed the issue after taking a couple of bites, I returned to the store to address my concerns. Terrible, dry, overpriced wings. Slow service. And the parking is not even free. Not clean or pleasant on the inside. The Wing Stop next door is probably a better option.

The Original J.R. Crickets in Midtown Atlanta is a casual bar, known for its fried shrimp basket and lemon pepper wings. The service is generally friendly, but can be forgetful at times. The wings are praised for their flavor, and many say they are the best in Atlanta. Customers have enjoyed the lemon pepper wings, which definitely meet expectations, though some have noted that the ranch dressing was forgotten, which was a little frustrating. The fried mushrooms are also a popular choice. The restaurant is located in a cozy, hole-in-the-wall type of setting, making it a good spot to stop by before going out. Some guests have mentioned that their food was delivered quickly, hot, and fresh. The waitstaff, such as Justin, have been praised for their friendly service. Overall, the atmosphere is nice, and the staff is very friendly, creating a welcoming environment. While some dishes could be cooked more to specific preferences, the food is generally decent. The parking area is great, with only minor comments about the chicken being slightly undercooked at times.
