Urban Hai Reviews
Good for takeout! I recommend the sour pickled fish.
Service was great and the food was the same. Most authentic Chinese food I’ve had in Atlanta. Xiaolongbao was VERY good!!
Ordered pork buns and orange chicken on DoorDash. Best orange chicken and rice I’ve ever had in my life. Perfectly crispy and sauce was great. Rice was lovely. Pork buns were fine, nothing wrong with them, but was expecting more of a cha siu bun, but it was more like a potsticker filling, but that’s on me because they were advertised accurately. I hate DoorDash, but this was one of the best things I’ve got from them.

Urban Hai offers a family-style meal experience with excellent service, even during peak times. The menu features standout dishes such as cumin lamb, bang bang shrimp, Mongolian chicken, and orange chicken. The restaurant is known for its Szechuan Chili Pepper dish, seasoned to perfection, adding to the authentic Chinese cuisine with Szechuan flair. Customers have praised the delicious flavors of the food, noting that it is not heavy but still very flavorful. The cozy atmosphere makes it a great place for a date, and the location is close to Atlantic Station and downtown, although parking may require a fee. A birthday dessert is a pleasant surprise for celebrations. Many guests mention the unique dishes like scallion bubble pancakes, which are as big as one's head and come with a sweet curry dipping sauce. The grandma noodles and snow pea tips are also highly recommended, with the latter being a sweet, crispy green vegetable. The restaurant offers a wide selection of proteins, including lamb, duck, seafood, chicken, and pork, along with several vegetarian options. The Peking duck, served with paper-thin wrappers, allows for a fun dining experience, and it comes with duck soup with glass noodles and goji berries. Customers are encouraged to share various dishes family-style, ensuring everyone can enjoy the best of what Urban Hai has to offer. Overall, Urban Hai is highly recommended for its tasty, affordable Chinese food, with unique and adventurous options for those willing to try something different.
