Carnivore Meat Pizza - Put more marinara sauce in it. It’s loaded with that dry ol sausage and pepperoni. The aftertaste? grease. just grease.
Please look over the menu and correct any items on the menu that are incorrect. Example: If you don't make onion jam then please take it off the sandwich description. It is frustrating to want something then when it comes it is a different item and different toppings or in our case no toppings at all just meat. I would personally make the menu smaller for a while and do those items well.
Had the baked wings and the Big One pizza.
Wings were baked well. Tender with a slight crust. The garlic and herb seasoning was barely noticeable though. I wanted the herbs and garlic to come through more.
The pizza was very flavorful and I enjoyed every bite. The toppings came off three of my slices when I grabbed them, and I think that's because they use a very thin tomato sauce here. Not ideal, but not an issue that ruined my experience. Crust was also burnt,...read full review

Based on the reviews, The Pizza Joint - Downtown Augusta serves pizza that is absolutely fantastic, amazing, and tastes good. The pizza is fresh, and the red top and Tapp33 Great Googly are mentioned as favorites. By the slice is the superior way to eat pizza, and it also reheats at home perfectly. The food and service were great, with a friendlier wait staff than other places. The whole place is cool and relaxing, though the decor is not the greatest. Some workers are very nice, but a couple of the servers didn't seem too friendly, and one visit involved a pizza sliding off a giant slanting pizza stand with a remake that was under cooked. The OG location brings back memories and has cold beers. It is worth the drive from Columbia, SC.
