“First off, I'd like to state that this rating is in comparison to other Mom & Pop establishments and not Michelin star places. That'd be unfair to both parties involved.

With that said, I really enjoyed myself here. The staff were very attentive and expeditious! I received my order probably about 5 minutes after I ordered. Granted it was earlier in the day and not many patrons but I still believe they deserve the recognition for it. There were plenty of seating available even for a large party if you have one. The establishment was clean on the outside and inside. In addition, the bathroom was really clean and tidy as well.

I ordered Sashimi that came with 6 other rolls and gyoza shrimp. The shrimp were so hot I actually had to let them sit a while before eating, which is great for me compared to cold or lukewarm. The Sashimi and sushi were extremely fresh! You can see a pick of the chef area where they prepared it. The food was plated exceptionally well and was a pleasantly unexpected surprise.

This was a great experience!!! And the efficiency of the staff allowed me to eat my lunch and get back to work on time. I highly recommend it and would visit again.”

“I had my first visit to Palmer's Eatery and it did not disappoint! We got our food to-go. So I didn't get to enjoy the cute outdoor seating area. The food was delicious! I had the 3 meat hibachi with chicken, steak, and shrimp. Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Large portions. I also had the peach cobbler.... whew! Delicious.... tasted like somebody's granny made it. LOL I will definitely be back and highly recommend Palmer's Eatery.”

“Hands down one of the best Mexican food trucks I’ve ever had. We tried the burria tacos last weekend and WOW insanely flavorful, juicy, perfectly cooked, and just straight up addictive. You can tell everything is made with care and real seasoning, not shortcuts.

I called around to place a catering order to be delivered to a dear friend, all other locations denied my order, even though they offer catering services and are closer to my delivery location, but not Andrew! He went over, beyond, and out of his way to ensure that he could get my order delivered and I am so appreciative! If you are in the Austell area and need anything from Honey Baked Ham, please stop by and ask for Andrew, he and his team’s customer service is TOP TIER! “I'm in a nursing home and once a month we coordinate a big takeout order with various places. We have used Okinawa Austell 3 times now, and everytime, without fail, they have given us delicious perfection! And their lunch prices are extremely affordable, even for us! We average 30 to 35 orders each time! Everything is always packaged so we can identify each order easily, and there have been ZERO mistakes or complaints. Zero complaints! Chase is always spectacular with his customer service and attention to detail. I wish i could remember the names of the other people whom ive interacted with. They were just as pleasant and helpful. I cant say enough about how much we love Okinawa Austell! Their Dallas Hwy location is also a gem. My sister and I used to go there at least once a month. It was our favorite sushi spot! It appears that Okinawa provides excellence no matter which location you go to! I would give more stars if I could!”

“I had a really challenging last few days so I had to come get some ice cream. It seems like an addition and a drug for me. I may need to evaluate whether or not I need to be buying it. But, neither here or there, I went to Bruster's in 36° weather and stood in line waiting to get me some GramCentral Station ice cream. It was worth the wait, the cold, and the 10 to 15 minute drive.
Both Mendy and Maria were amazing and had great customer service skills. I used to come here a lot until life got busy, but it's good to be back! They have some of the best ice cream and I am here for it!
So Mendy and Maria, if you all see this message, please know that you are appreciated for your great customer service skills and I personally appreciate such great and quality ice cream. “The pupusas are heavenly. So far I have had pupusas frijole con queso, revueltas, carne con queso, and calabaza y queso. The slaw and salsa rojo that they come with is the perfect compliment to the pupusas. The slaw and salsa de rojo comes in zip-loc bags for takeout, which was amusing to me, but it works.

Yesterday I tried the fried corn tamale, and it was delicious as well. Slightly sweet cornbread. (photo attached)

I also got some bread here -- unfortunately I don't know the name of it, but I'll post a photo. I've yet to get a photo of the pupusas because I am so eager to eat them that I forget!

I have not dined inside, only ordered pickup, but it stays busy inside, which is a good sign to me. Very clean and it smells so good in there. It's somewhat loud.

For pickup, it takes around 10-20 minutes to get your order after you've placed it. Service (from a takeout order perspective) is no-nonsense. Polite but not overly friendly as it's clear that they have a very steady stream of business and are busy doing their thing.
