“Always a favorite, as long as you go at the right time and don't have to wait forever to get a table. The menu is huge and can be overwhelming, so review it online if you've never been. Many of the dishes will easily provide enough food for a second (or third) meal if you take home leftovers. And whatever you do... get a slice of cake!“

“First time eating here. Food is very delicious. I had the Diner Dip and my partner had the Cuban sandwich. He said it reminded him of Miami. For dessert he had the Salted Caramel Cheesecake and I had the German Chocolate Cake. Both very delicious. Our waiter was William D. I highly recommend him as your waiter when you visit. He recommends items from the menu. He is very attentive to your needs. I would give this place five stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“What a great “greasy-spoon” diner. All of your country breakfast favorites are here. I’ve eaten there twice in order to make this review.I ate lunch both times, getting breakfast food, and service was fast and friendly. Great service. Plenty of seating.The food was great. I loved the biscuits. The sausage gravy is peppery, which I like. I had the grits, for the first time in about 40 years, and I still don’t get it. LOTS of people there were enjoying the grits, so I’m guessing they are good.I’ll certainly be eating at the Bankhead Diner anytime I’m in the area. Thanks for the great meals!“

“My husband and I stop by this morning for breakfast, and I must say it was amazing we had the pork chop special service was great. We had a wonderful waitress name is Keshia. She was very pleasant and polite. We enjoyed our dining experience hats off to the cook. Mr & Mrs Harris.“

“We have dined in and ordered takeout many times. We really enjoy the food and have tried multiple things. Tha mac and chz and greens are good. Meatloaf, burgers, pork chops have all been good. Definitely recommend for comfort food, there's only a few spots in the area with comfort food. This one is worth trying.“
