Arepa Mia

Eating the food at Arepa Mia is like getting a hug from your grandmother- makes you feel wholesome. Every plate is made with love and always fresh (and tasty). This restaurant is a gem in Atlanta- one of the healthiest places I’ve found since moving from LA. The staff all warm and friendly. Can’t recommend this place enough.

I thoroughly enjoyed this lunch. I had the appetizer of “Arepitas fritas” and “Arepa Asado Negro” (Beef and Arepa) and a Guanabana juice. The service was friendly and quick!! The food was nice and hot not warm. The sauces had a good flavor profile as did the arepa. Please stop by and support our Local communities.

One of my favorite spots in town. Food is super tasty and has that homemade feel. Staff is very friendly, checking in periodically in a welcoming way.
If I had to complain about one thing is that they don’t open on Sundays. One day I was chatting with the boss lady and she said her staff appreciates having Sundays off and I have mad respect for that. 10/10 every time.

Been here twice for company lunches. This place is really good. Anything on the menu sticks out. No wonder this place was recommended by the Michelin guide. I ordered "Arepa Asado Negro" and "Arepa Pernil" and neither missed. Have also gotten several of the appetizers. All really good, including "yuca frita", arepitas, and tostones. The hot sauces are good here too! Don't have many pictures since it was company lunch

This spot works with locally sourced suppliers creating delicious Venezuelan staples with a few twists and a bunch of Gluten Free options! One of the very best places to eat in ATL area.

I love the food here! Especially great for people with gluten allergies. Atmosphere is welcoming, the service was extremely friendly! We got to try all of the juices they have. Highly recommend, stop thinking about it and just go!

This place has the most freshest, hottest, most delicious food imaginable, with a great atmosphere and delightful and courteous staff. The arepas and empanadas are the best and most authentic I've ever had. The fresh passionfruit juice was amazing, and the cappuccino was so flavorful! I'm definitely coming back for more!

Love arepa Mia! The yuca fries are a must try. You can’t go wrong with any of the arepas, but my favorite is la pelua. The outdoor seating is so nice.

This rating is purely based on my ordering experience. Post order, everything was delightful.
We had never been there before and were very excited to see what the fuss was all about. The food was great and the actual waitstaff were delightful (Again,based on THEM, I would give a 5) but the woman at the register was overly kurt and oversold us. She made us pay for water. They offer water for free. This was after she was super snippy at the register. To be clear: One of us must have reminded her of an ex-partner or lover past because o and clipping all of her responses to us. Order was ready to be placed, we were polite so there shouldn't have been a "jerk" tax, but she kept repeatedly cutting her eyes at us , then when we asked for water, she told us "Beverages are in the cooler. Choose what type of water". She was decidedly unkind towards us.. and made us pay 5.00 for water. Color me disappointed.
