“Heading back from the NC Mountains and stopped at this place in GA. Menu was extensive, chips and salsa were great. A good sign for mexican dining. Had lunch fajitas and wife had tacos carne asada. Huge portions and reasonable price. Will stop by this place on next visit to the NC mountains.“

Atmosphere seemed great. Definitely coming back! Has potential to turn into one of our favorite spots!“
“Los Arcos Mexican Restaurant & Bar has been open for about six months, per the owner, as of October 2023. This restaurant is an excellent addition to the food desert in Lula and provides options without having to drive to nearby cities like Gainesville or Cornelia. PARKING There is a small lot in the front and street parking AMBIANCE/SEATING The restaurant has plenty of indoor seating, tables, and booths. There are two rooms where all of the tables are situated. I'd say there are roughly 16 tables total and bar seating. The table tops are wooden with a splash of festive, colorful streaks. SERVICE the staff was friendly. My party arrived around lunchtime on a weekday and was seated right away. Water/drinks and orders were all taken at a reasonable time. FOOD -Chips & Salsa: They were complimentary and delicious. The chips were fresh and warm. Salsa isn't spicy; it's typical slushie restaurant salsa. -Queso: The cheese dip portion was huge. It tasted good. It was very runny initially due to how warm it was, but the consistency thickened as it cooled down. -Combo #10: I didn't order this, but it tasted good per my SO. This combination consisted of one beef burrito, taco, and enchilada. -Enchiladas Mexicanas: I ordered this plate, and there was a ton of food. The main star of this dish is the cheese enchiladas topped with shredded carnitas (pork), sliced onions, sliced green bell peppers, and smothered in queso. The sides were a small salad (lettuce & chopped tomatoes), guacamole crema, sour cream, and Mexican rice. Everything was good, but I was hoping for more pork on the dish. The rice portion was heavy-handed. Overall, it is a solid restaurant to grab some good Mexican fixing. Their menu is extensive, and they have a bar; you can't beat that! Also, you seem to get a bang for your buck with the entrees/food here.“

“My family and I have been eating regularly at El Jinete for years. The food is always quick, fresh, and delicious. The servers are always friendly and top notch. The owners are awesome and have created a family like atmosphere. They have a wide variety of items and speciality drinks on their menu. My family has so many favorite foods on their menu, but some of our frequent "go to" items are the "tacos de pollo asado" and "burrito loco" as shown in the pictures served in the restaurant or their "burrito California" in the to-go picture. Their chips and salsa are addictive. The serving sizes are huge, and we normally eat half at one time and save the other half for lunch the next day. While not shown in the pictures, their "chicken soup" is the best we have ever had and is perfect for any time of year. We highly recommend this restaurant for amazing Mexican food and service.We also recommend reserving their beautiful, private room (for a nominal fee) for special events.“

“It has been a while since I’ve eaten here. They have updated the design of their menu. It was slow when we went around noon during a weekday. The staff was very friendly and the food came quickly and was good. I may have overlooked it but I couldn’t find the kids menu on the redesigned version but was still able to order kids portion size.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking for wheelchair“
“Probably of the best authentic Mexican food I've ever had. Don't let the patina of the building scare you off, it's a great place. They also have lots of unique drinks, and a little candy section for kids in the front. A great place, and love what they are doing. Oh and another nice touch was the beef burrito was made with shredded beef, not ground.“
“Well, I ordered a carne asada burrito with everything, however they forgot the sour cream!? I also ordered 3 tacos carne asada meal with extra cilantro and onions, it did not seem like extra to me!? I would have given the meal between a 6 to a solid 6.5 with out the red salsa. With the red salsa a solid 8.5!!! I saved half of the burrito for home where l could add sour cream. Let me tell you, it took it over the top to a solid 9.5 possibly 10!!! The burrito and tacos were not seasoned enough for me... However that red salsa is perfectly blended with salt, peppers, herbs and spices!!! I am a serious Food Connoisseur(Foodie, Lover of Food) who has eaten authentically well prepared scrumptious can't speak until l am done cuisines from at least 50 different cultures and subcultures!!!“
