“We traveled from Oklahoma to Georgia and visited Gibbs Gardens, which was incredible! Afterwards we came across Lora Mae’s in Ball Ground. It was such a clean, peaceful and relaxing place! It was 1:30, so past the lunch crowd. I had the BLT+avocado; my husband had the grilled chicken and pimento sandwich (homemade pimento cheese and pepper jelly) ; and we shared an order of red potato salad. Everything was fresh, homemade and delicious! Prices were very reasonable. If you’re in the area, try it! You won’t be disappointed!”

“The manager, Wanda- I think was her name- acted with grace and kindness when a condescending, entitled “customer” (more descriptive words could be used to describe him) was completely out of line in the middle of a busy Saturday morning when there were obviously multiple people being trained. We love coming to this Waffle House and will continue to do so. The food and atmosphere are always what you’d expect.”

“Not local but was looking for a more upscale restaurant for NYEve dinner. This place was exactly what I was hoping to find and a short drive from the Lake Lanier area. Our server, I believe her name was Ashley, was amazing - helpful and knowledgeable. The food and drinks were on point. Don’t skip this place!”

“Shoutout to Cairn View Winery! I will preface this with I am not a wine drinker. HOWEVER, I spent the day there with my crew and had some of the best wine I have ever tasted! Everything I dislike about wine was not to be found in the 4 that I tasted. I have visited a number of wineries and would not return to any of them for the wine, but this one… I am already contemplating how I can get back up there for more! In addition to the inside and porch seating, there is an adorable charcoal fire pit with adarondac chairs and blankets outside between the winery and Bent Tree Lodge & Vineyard. We sat by the fire, wrapped in blankets, laughing, sipping, and meeting new friends for hours. It made for a perfect day! 10/10 would highly recommend!”

“INCREDIBLE! We had the best evening at Mamma Onesta’s. Mel seated us before our reservation and was so welcoming. Such a cute space. Live music playing. Nick was our server and was so attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We started with toasted ravioli and bruschetta. Both incredible. The Marinara, made in house, was phenomenal. I ordered the baked penne and it was AMAZING. Enough portions for 3 meals. My boyfriend got the lasagna and a side of meatballs. Insane portions. We both felt like we were in Italy again. If you want to spend your money supporting an incredible family with great staff and food, this is the place to go. We will be back! Huge thank you to Chef Mario in the back, also! Such a great experience.”
