“I'm from NY and I was missing eating in Little Italy so I came here. I had no expectations because a lot of the food down here is just not comparable to back home, no offense. I can't speak for the pizza (which I will definitely be coming back for soon because this place is really good) but I ordered mussels and had a glass of sangria. The mussels were really good and I'm very happy. The boys behind the counter are sweet, friendly, and respectful. “Snow cheese wings was the beeeest! This is the second time I've been to a 99k chicken and I have fallen in love with the snow cheese wings. If you are a fan of the flavor combo of chicken and waffles this is a wing flavor you gotta try. “This is such a cool ? place. NY subway themed bathrooms with train stops sounds inside. ambiance was warm and inviting. Server was so nice to our child. Wish they had some crayons or some paper for the kids. The NY style thin pizza wasn't that exciting. The crust was very cracker-like and not doughy. I didn't like it that much. The bottom of the pizza was bland and didn't have that cornmeal type bottom that I've had in New York.“

I also had alfredo but added spinach and mushrooms. It was a HUGE portion, i could only eat half. Another thing, I dread leftovers... but I looked forward to getting to have this the next day. It was hands down THE BEST alfredo I've had. The fresh noodles I think is what really makes the difference here. If I'm coming back through this part of GA I will for sure be stopping in again! However it does get soggy fast so by time I get home the bread is not longer crispy but the flavors are good. Cheese pizza is what you want in a NY style pizza. Great dough. Very well cook. Perfect fold. One of best NY pizza I had outside of the big apple. This past time I also tried their wings and we a pretty impressive. I got the mild one and they were on point. They were on the extra wet side which I have no complain with as nothing is worse to go home with dry wings. They were more on the softer side which is my favorite, my wife on the other hand like her wings very crispy so she wasn't a fan on those. The menu also has a few Italian dishes like chicken Parm, lasagna, etc. Never tried those but will in the future. MISCELLANEOUS Plenty parking as the location is in a strip mall. “Great take-out place, amazing pizza. It’s bigger than the picture shows (I thought it would be small). It’s 6 nice-sized slices per box. I went in person because I wanted specific additions to one of the pizzas and the owner was extremely nice and accommodating. The place is kind of hidden within the plaza, but it’s directly across from the McDonald’s. The pizza is as tasty as it looks and the wings were PERFECTLY crispy. Loved them!We got the signature pizza and the margarita pizza (added pepperoni). The wings were a combo of buffalo and lemon pepper, another adjustment the owner was very accommodating about. If you don’t have adjustments you can just order online, but the wait in person was only about 25 minutes.Pizza was pricey but I could tell the ingredients were high quality so it was worth it. The wings were very affordable and I will definitely get more than a 10 piece next time.Parking: The building is way in the corner and the entrance is kind of hidden. The parking is plenty but if you want to park by the door those spots are also in that hidden corner.“

When I walked in, I was greeted by Matt, one of the managers, who informed me they closed at 9PM and I looked on Google to verify. “We were in the area and hadn't visited this restaurant before, but knowing Mellow Mushroom wouldn't disappoint, we decided to check it out. The restaurant was very clean and bright. As we walked in, Ida greeted us and told us to pick our spot. Ida was quick to take our order and so pleasant to talk to...in fact I noted two kitchen staff bring out to go orders while we were there, and both, Amanda and unfortunately I didn't hear anyone call out the young man's name, but both of them provided exemplary customer service. I don't say that often, I'm a retired service level manager, so that word is exactly appropriate. They even opened the box and asked their customer if it looked good to them and thanked them for visiting. Now the food, we ordered the house special, of course it was excellent, and they didn't skimp on the toppings, the bruschetta was delicious. In fact, we ate it and some pizza slices before I even thought about taking pictures to share. It's roughly a 35-minute drive from my home, but we'll be back soon. “Have been eating at Sid’s for almost 20 years and have always enjoyed their sauce and toppings on pizza.I have noticed their pizza has gotten way too thick and doughy recently, as it’s becoming more Sicilian style at nearly 1” thick in crust. Would love to see the pizza thinned out some and cooked a little longer. Some parts of the dough still seemed raw and cheese wasn’t melted all the way.“

“My family and I were so happy we came. My nieces and nephews are so picky but luckily this place had enough where all 4 kids were able to eat from. We had a large cheese pizza, the meatball trio, the pretzel bites, and a medium barbecue chicken pizza. And of course, the grownups had their selection of alcoholic beverages. This is a suburban locale so it's missing the authentic gritty urban gentrified "chic" the other one has by spades. In Atl you are in an urban sort of industrial area near the cool lofts and the seedy bar and there's some hobos walking around plus the Ga Tech students staff etc. the inside is bright busy and the view into the kitchen transports you out of the usual Atl blandness. The Avalon location the interiors don't work as well. Of course everyone is familiar with the ridiculous table situation but once you're seated you get the pizza quick and easy. It's the same in both locations. Otherwise the pizza is just as great here.“
